The rash is most likely due to the Ilvitrim, it is a very well known side effect of this antibiotic, as reported by the FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache and diarrhea. You should have the rash checked out, because if it's not an allergic rash, you can likely continue the medication and it will eventually go away on its own, in a few weeks. Does it itch? Or is just a rash?

My house helper is HIV positive and received Ilvitrim 400mg. She started to take it this morning. The dosage reads 2 tabs every 1 hour. Is that normal? Please let me know. I'm positive gave birth a public hospital don't think my baby was tested and he wasnt given nevarapine immediately on when we were discharged after 4 days and now he is taking ilvitrim and vomits every after feeding and burping he is formulae feeding and hasn't been tested and he is 11 weeks ## Why wasn't he tested? So in December I had diarrhea,my baby was 6 months at that time. I got admitted in hospital for four days. And while I was in hospital, my baby was with my aunt.
