Fyi to anyone considering subutex or suboxone while pregnant-beware that your baby is passed your opiates. I took lortab and subutex while pregnant weaned off of all 8 weeks prior to delivery and my son has autism. I know that no one knows what causes autism, but it's not worth your experimentation! beware! if you don't stop before delivery your baby will have withdrawl and the hospital will know for sure. take good care. ## I am 36 weeks pregnant, and have been on oxycodon for the entire time. I managed to get down to 45 mg, about a month ago, but told my doctors about my addiction bc i couldnt kick the habit myself. I'm only on day two of zoloft. initial side effects are immense. I have been monitoring severe anxiety attacks with xanax for years. It is really the only way I function in society. I found out a week ago I'm pregnant and had to stop immediately. They prescribed zoloft. I am a bit familiar with antidepressant side effects and know that two days is too soon to give up. But the past two days have been so intense and scarey. My panics are through the roof. Trouble typing the shakes are so immense. Very hard to eat or sleep. And I'm getting lock jaw from grinding my teeth. And of course I'm worried about my pregnancy. I will certainly speak with my Dr about this but want to get through 72 hours or a week first. I'm on Xarelto and I've been taking it for 8 months. I just found out I'm 7 weeks pregnant, so I've stopped taking my pills for a week now until i get the inj's. Meanwhile, did I harm my unborn by taking this medication? ## At this point, the FDA lists this information as being unknown, though so far, no toxicity has been seen. They do, however, warn that a miscarriage, or taking it during labor could result in dangerous levels of bleeding. Which shot are they switching you to? Are you on any other medications? I have been taking either suboxone or subutex for a little over a year now. I started taking it because I have a bad knee and my line of work causes a lot of pain (CNA in nursing home). I ended up getting hooked on it. I only take 2mg a day and I do sometimes skip a day. I recently found out I am about 5 weeks pregnant unexpectedly and I am terrified. I refuse to have a baby hooked on anything but I have read that stopping can cause miscarriage. I am already scared because I had a miscarriage 6 years ago. I do not know what to do.
