Ibuprofen With Amne

Insurance made me switch over manufacturers from Amneal (600mg Ibuprofen) to Dr. Reddy's (600mg Ibuprofen). What is the difference, if any? Does one have more fillers? Is one a sodium ibuprofen and one standard, absorbed faster etc? Thanks. ## They both contain the same active ingredient, they are just manufactured by different companies. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Ibuprofen as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, stomach irritation, and increased risk of bleeding. How is the new tablet working for you?

Are Ibuprofen 800mg (IP 466) tabs, made by Amneal Pharmaceuticals, prescription only, or can they be bought over-the-counter? I've had several disc herniations for almost 20yrs.Tired of the stigma associated with pain meds, I went off the stronger meds (such as Oxycontin) approximately 2 yrs ago. I've tried large doses of Motrin, which was getting expensive, and eventually tried the Ibuprofen 800mg tabs. They've worked for me (1 tab twice daily) but I'm almost out and would like to use them regularly. They're a lot less expensive than Motrin or other brand names. Please, advice? Brand of vitamin c ## Hi Mona, I haven't been able to find any pill with the imprint II45, could you double check that it is the correct imprint? Unfortunately, OTC medications and supplements can be very hard to locate due to the fact that the imprints are often quite vague. The closest match I've been able to find is a white round pill with the imprint IP 145. This pill contains (7.5 mg) of Hydrocodone bitartrate + (200 mg) of ibuprofen. Has lp on top 145 below it.told it was vicodin???the other side smoth.the pill is white n round. ## Hi tru, Most Vicodin/Norco pills I've come across are usually white oblong tablets, but this white round pill marked with IP 145 reportedly contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone bitartrate + 200mgs of Ibuprofen. It's NOT Vicodin/Norco, however I think the Ibuprofen may make for a good alternative for those who can't tolerate Acetaminophen, due to potential liver problems. The manufacturer is listed as Amneal Pharma. I hope this helps!

387 watson on one side and ip466 on the other side ## These are two different medications made by two different companies, so you wouldn't find both imprints on the opposite sides of the same tablet. Watson 387 contains 7.5mgs of Hydrocodone and 750mgs of Acetaminophen, it is a generic for Vicodin, which is a narcotic pain reliever. The IP 466 is manufactured by Amneal, formerly Intrapharm and contains 800mgs of Ibuprofen.
