FOR INFECTION ## Actually it is not for infection, it is a generic for Vicodin - which is a pain reliever comprised of Acetaminophen and various opioids which act as narcotics. ## To be specific, this contains Acetaminophen and the narcotic pain reliever Hydrocodone. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, dry mouth, constipation and drowsiness. ## I suffer with severe fibromyalgia..also had t3to t12 fusions, osteoporosis, osteoarthritis, ulcerative colitis, GERD, etc. Nothing my Dr. Prescribed has worked for pain management. My Dr said the last one I could try is Cymbalta...if that does not work the next step is narcotics..It reaaly scares me. My question is: what is the differene between opioids and narcodics. Question 2: is cymbalta an opioid?

Title Hydroco Apap M357. White pill and breaks in half. I am taking this medication for back pain. It causes constipation. I take care of someone that takes hydroco/apap 7.5-325 when he takes one he gets sick to his stomach after he takes one at nite.the next mornig he still feels sick ## Hello, Liz! How are you? If it's that severe, he should speak to his doctor, they may be able to prescribe something to prevent the nausea. Has he tried taking it with food? Does this drug have codiene ## APAP is medical speak for Acetaminophen and the other active ingredient is Hydrocodone, so no, it does not contain Codeine. Just wondering if this was a typo..7.5/500? All I can find is 7.5/650 and 750. I know it is generic Vicodin but am worried about the directions saying take 1 or 2 when the previous script was for 5-500 and only was directed as take 1... I do not want to take more than before...5-500 was more than enough,.. Need to know if I should break in half..... ## Can you provide the imprint from the tablets? i have been on hydroco apap10 for 3 weeks following knee replacement surgery. my question is, how soon or how long does it take for a person to become addicted to this drug? how long is it safe to take before dependency occurs? ## A few weeks, if you are taking it as prescribed, it usually not long enough. This pill make me sweat really bad, nauseated, the shakes, out of breath and cannot eatnot. You need to contact your Dr and ask him to prescribe something else. ## Hello, Lucy! How are you? Those can be side effects of this narcotic, in some people that take it. Along with dizziness, headache, constipation and dry mouth, as listed by the FDA. It also carries the risk of being habit forming. I experience these same symptoms, if I take Codeine, so I've found it best to stay away from it. Have you consulted your doctor? As BL suggested, you'll likely need to try a different medication.

How long does it take for the side effects to wear off from the initial dosage? ## The half-life of Hydrocodone is just a little under 4 hours and for it to be completely processed from your body takes between 5 to 6 half-lives, so 20 to 24 hours. m357 capsule ## M 357 is 5 mg Hydrocodone + 500 mg Acetaminophen. Manufactured by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. It's a narcotic pain reliever generic for Vicodin. ## Roy is correct. I would like to post a warning though that this pharmaceutical company does not always have good quality control so their meds are not always reliable. There have been many complaints made about their products.
