I took 45mg for 5 days in a row. I am a smoker, inactive and slightly overwieght but not fat. Will 4 days be enough for it to leave my system? Most medications do not linger too long and cannot be detected unless someone does a blood, hair or tissue test. I have taken two 30 mgs of morphine twice a day and two 10 650 oxycodone every day for over two years. How hard will it be to stop these medications? ## My personal opinion is that because the difficulty of withdrawal is also dependent upon a combination of one's mental, emotional, spiritual and physical fortitude, comparing how bad someone else's unique situation was wont necessarily reflect how your experience will play out, for better or for worse. I took a drug test on friday and saturday and it was all.negative..went to the er saturday afternoon and they prescribed me cyclobenzaprine and naprozen and tuesday took a drug test and came back positive for.thc and morphine.. i dont smoke cannabis or take any pain killers for almost a year now. I smoked marijuana 31 days ago. At my 26th day I went to an independent labcorp and took a 5 panel drug urine test and tested negative. I've been taking 90mg Avinza twice daily for about 11 years, with the addition of percoset 5mg 2-4x a day over the last two years. I still couldn't sleepplus had major anxiety issues, and after trying Ambien (awful!), Klonopin, Xanax & other meds that made me brain dead the next day, I finally began using cannabis with great success. I have been a chronic marijuana smoker for years. Recently have had to quit for my job. It took over two months to finally pass clean for THC except that i consistently show positive for Buprenorphine. Does suboxone help to treat mojo and spice addiction? My son smokes mojo daily and cannot kick it. I've been on suboxone for years to help my pain pill issue and it has worked very well for me. ## No! Suboxone is for opioid drugs like morphine or oxycodone. Your suboxone dependence will be a far bigger burden to carry even though it's safer than spice as far as overdosing. I would recommend using real marijuana to kick the spice and perhaps ask the Dr if it's safe to take a benzo like valium for the nerve withdrawals but only for a short time. Only as needed. Then just wean down and kick the marijuana. If you want to kick the mj but can't, seek a support group like NA. Real marijuana has no physical dependence just psychological.

My baby sister is addicted to oxycodone. She started using oxycontin when she was 15, she is now 25 and has moved on to smoking oxycodone, morphine, and even the jelly off of phentanyl patches. She has been (as she puts it) a "slave" to this stuff for 10 yrs now. She assures me that overdose is impossible when you smoke it, is this true? With my insurance this drug will cost me $150. I am currently on 16 pharmacy meds to include 2 nebulizer meds, an inhaler, oxygen at 3.5 constantly, morphine pain pump (broke my back) have never smoked although both parents, two husbands and I worked for the Army for 34 years around smokers. Im angry my pain mgnt dr thinks im not taking my meds morphine 60mg twice daily and percocet10/325 neurontin 800mg and xanaflex 4mg im 5'8" wiegh 220 diabetic and smoke hypothyroidism and eat ice all day and drink lots of coffee and water what am i doing wrong why are my urine tests low ## Well, the ones of those that they can test for would be the Morphine and the Oxycodone in the Percocet. They can't test for Neurontin and Zanaflex on those types of tests. However, the reason your levels are so low is most likely due to all the ice, coffee and water that you are taking in every day. I suffer from terrible nerve pain as a result of an accident that left me a paraplegic. I've tried everything. Morphine, Fentanyl, a slew of non narcotics that I take along side of the narcotics. One being Hydrocodo. Nothing has really helped. The pain is often HORRIBLE and I'm becoming desperate. My Dr. just prescribed me Opana and I'm waiting for the drug to show up at my pharmacy. Failed first oral swab test in 3 years. I am a 61 year old disabled man. My Dr. assistant lowered my medication from 2 morphine sulfate 15 mg daily & 3 roxicodones 30 mg also daily. Have now been cut to only the 2 morphine sulfates 15mg er. With this large drop off the doctor said I wouldn't feel withdrawal but after about 6 to 7 hours I do. They only gave me 14 pills for 7 days. For my body chemistry I would have needed 3 of them a day to make it. They are now currently waiting for a note from a psychiatrist specialist in addiction.
