Hi everyone, I'm gonna make this short and sweet. I had lower back issues, then I had surgery and now the pain is worse. I need a MD/PA that will help me with pain and prescribe Norco, Xanax, and Soma. If you know any in Houston and surrounding areas, please respond. ## Those are 3 drugs which are very hard to obtain. Why not look into a pain clinic in the area? ## That's where the long story comes in. I have been to 3 pain management specialist. All required physical therapy, epidural corticosteroid injection, facet injections and two of the the 3 required rhizotomy. Not to mention all the x -rays/ MRIs and diagnostics that I have taken so many times. Then you have to wait for the doctors schedule to get relief. All that being said here is one example: I went in to one doctor w...

My husband suffers from sciatica and has suffered from it for at least 10 years. He has had 2 major invasive back surgeries to release pressure off of his sciatic nerve. The second surgery got him off of the floor and enabled him to function but only with the help of Norco and Tylenol and Ibuprofen. For some reason there is NO Norco available in Houston or the surrounding suburbs at this time. Does anyone know what is going on? ## I am sorry to hear this as as I also suffer from sciataca and also live in Houston. I was just about to start reaching out to forums such as this one to look for Vicodin or Norco as my doctor put me on Norco but it cannot stop the pain. Can you let me know if you find anyone? my sympathy goes out to all Sciataca sufferers. ## Unfortunately, this happens yearly...

I can't find a pharmacy that has 100 µmcg patches patches in Houston ## Hello, Chrystal! How are you? I'm very sorry about the problem that you're having. We are now into the time of year when there is usually a shortage of controlled substances, due to mandatory manufacturing limits. Once a manufacturer reaches their yearly allotted limit, they cannot manufacture any new product, until after the new year. Every year, we inevitable end up with demand exceeding the supply, which results in a shortage for the last few months of the year. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. The best suggestion I can make is to see what your pharmacy does have...

need to find a Doctor that will prescibe oxycodone / I recently got an MRI but can not afford the surgery right now / have been precribed Norco but after 6 years I have built a tolerance and they are no longer effective ## Hi Silver, In regards to finding a local pain doctor, I have listed below a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist Many of the results you find (in one or both of the links above) also list a phone number for that specific doctor; I'd consider calling up a num...

It is a fight just to get out of bed. Just like many many other people I have sciatica & a degenerative disc in my back. I took adhd meds as a child but have not been diagnosed as an adult. Therefore I have no medical records showing an adderall rx. I need to find a doctor in Houston, TX who will prescribe it to me, and without insurance. I don't want to have to pay a lot for the visit. ## Hello, Pinklaces120! How are you? Unfortunately, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist for such a medication. Thus, I am not sure if there's any way to do it cheaply, unless you have a low-income clinic in your area that you can use to get referred to a place with a sliding fee scale. I live in Houston, TX (77092 area) and have called major, "mom and pop", even obscure pharmacies. I can NOT find a place that carries methadone! (10 mg. 120 ct.) I am so frustrated! But I can't find a Walgreens IN Houston that carries Methadone. Help! ## Hello, Aaron! How are you? The problem is that you're calling the pharmacies. When you do that and are asking about a controlled substance like this, you are not going to get an honest answer. They have no way of knowing if the person on the phone is a legitimate customer with a need, or a potential thief. The only way to get an accurate answer is by actually g...

I left TX after a bad divorce. I have been on Methadone maintenance almost 6 years. I went to a clinic in Huntsville 1 year then a clinic in Houston about 4.5 years. I had one positive U/A about 1.5 years ago but it was wrong. They have a high turn around rate and a couple of people were fired for drug use. A new nurse, I never had seen before and did not know her name. when I came out she said she would hold my urine. I told her we always keep with it until we can seal it, then sign over it. She demanded she hold it. I was NOT happy. After that I had to wait for my dose and my 3 week take homes. (It was 3 weeks instead of 4 because I was at 170 mg and you must be 150 for 4 week take homes) After that 10 or 15 minutes I walked out and she was still standing in the hallway holding my uri...

I am in Houston, TX. Where can I buy Flanax for my mother who has arthritis? ## Please note that Flanax isn't available at local US-based pharmacies. However, it is readily available OTC on Amazon who does ship products all across America, so I would encourage you to check there first. The active ingredient in Flanax is Naproxen, so alternatively you could also look for another product that contains that as the active ingredient, such as Aleve, or the equivalent store brands and generics. It is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and it may cause side effects, such as nausea, headache, dizziness and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? {affiliate link added}
