I purchased artri help for pain of sciatic nerve. Would this help the pain? I got it at the swat meet in San Fernando ## Are you possibly referring to "arthri d-3"? This arthritis supplement reportedly contains the following list of ingredients (which in my opinion seems like it would be beneficial for reducing inflammation/pain): Vitamin C, D, Magnesium, NAG (N-Acetyl-D-Glucosamine), Chondroitin Sulfate, Rice Flour, Tumeric Extract, Boswellia Serrata, Ashwaganda, Yucca (root), Bromelain, Evening Primrose oil, Perna Canaliculus (Green Lipped Mussel), Hyaluronic Acid (Sodium Hyaluronate) I haven't researched each individual ingredient, but I know from my own experience that Turmeric, Bromelain, and Yucca, just in and of themselves are excellent treatment options. Although dep...

Ok, so I just got married and started the pill right before I got married. The first month everything was normal and I started my period like clockwork the first day of the white pill. Month number 2 rolls around, I am on my 3rd day of white pills and no period. Should I be concerned. Is pregnancy possible. As far as I know I have not missed any blue pills and done very well in taking them. ## If you are worried, it never hurts to consult your doctor, just in case. However, menstrual irregularities are normal, when you are new to taking hormonal contraceptives, because your body does have to adjust to the changes in hormones and you may experience irregular bleeding, or missed periods for the first 3 months, or so. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I have taken two packs of ...

Is it safe to take 2 10mg hydrocodones every 3 hours? I am 24 and I am scheduled to have a total hip replacement on the 18th. For the past two days I have been taking 2 hydrocodones, 1 gabapentin, and 1 robaxin every 3-4 hours to keep my pain under control so I don't end up in the er like I did on Wednesday. So my question is, is it safe to be taking all of these every 3-4 hours? ## Hello, Kat! How are you doing? I am very sorry that you're in so much pain. If you're taking Norco/Vicodin that also has Acetaminophen in it, then it is dangerous to take that many in a 24 hour period. You can't exceed 3,000mgs of Acetaminophen per day. Taking more than that risks an overdose, which could be fatal. It is really best to not take more than prescribed. You may want to contact yo...

I have been taking 300mgs of gabapentin 100mgs three times a day I suffer with a fast irregular heartbeat and since taking this medication it has been much worse and keeping me awake at night do you think I should continue as I am trying to stop my nightime diazepam 5mgs and treat the nerve pain I have from rotator cuff injury and back spasms from a chronic back condition ## Hello, Rose! How are you? You should have this checked out by your doctor. Gabapentin has been known to cause high blood pressure and tachycardia in some people that take it, as reported by the FDA. If it continues out of control, it could become dangerous. This just might not be the right medication for you to take and you may need to try something else. Has there been any change?

I have been having a rash on the side of my neck for months. It looks like a sunburn with dry skin. I have tried all the anti-fungal type meds with no luck. It does not itch very much and there has been no changes in my diet, meds, laundry soap and so forth. Does anyone have any ideas that might clear this up other then say go to you doctor. ## Hello, Jenifer! How are you? Have you tried a topical allergy ointment? Some allergic outbreaks can look like that, they can also hit certain specific areas, if that spot becomes very sensitive to the allergen, as listed by the NIH. I doubt it's due to an infection, because that would continue to get worse. However, the only way to really get a definitive answer is by seeing your doctor, which I know you don't want to hear. Does anyone el...

My mom is having some pain in her second toe from her toenail getting snagged from inside of her sock, because she drags her right foot from a stroke she is still recovering from 2 years ago. Is it okay to try a little Ketoprofen Lidocaine for her sore toe? ## It would be best not to try anything, without her doctor's approval. Though it is topical, there is still a slight risk of there being interactions, or complications with other medications she may be taking. The FDA lists the typical side effects as possibly including headache, skin redness, irritation, and dryness. What other medications is she taking?

Hi everyone xxx just want you to know I feel your pain. I didn't realise what this drug was until I tried to stop taking it?! I am so hurt and angry!! I was put onto 80mg of Oxycodone a day and OxyContin every four hours for a severely damaged pelvis from pregnancy. This was by a hospital that didn't believe anything was wrong with me!! I also have Fibromyalgia caused by the pelvic trauma and my discs in back are now deteriorating from the position I have to be in to avoid pelvic pain! To cut a long story short I was referred to the top trauma hospital in Uk and given a CAT scan which finally showed damage and I am now waiting for an operation to remove the front part of pelvis. My new surgeon was horrified at the high dose I'd been prescribed and warned me the drug shortens...
