I have hyperactive adrenal glands. A friend told me that taking Eglonyl would help. My wife takes this as an anti depressant so it would be easy for me to trial it, I'm just weary of adverse effects. Any tips ?? ## Eglonyl contains the active ingredient Sulpiride. It is an antipsychotic mediation that is also used to treat other mental health disorders, such as depression. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, weight gain and sedation. In my opinion I think I would be ok to trial it, given the low count of adverse effects. But for the long term I would definitely suggest consulting a doctor about it to see if this medication is the best option for your condition. I was wondering how bad is it if you take zanax while pregnant? ## Xanax does cross the placenta, meaning the baby also receives a dose and could be born addicted to the medication. ## I find the above statement a little far fetched. Yes, according to my pharmacy books I went through just now and reread over and over to make sure, they do state that pharmacokinetically it crosses placenta and breast milk but I do not have any categories placed on the medication as to it being precautionary. I know that most people have known or read about people who were healed,etc. WAy back maybe 35 years ago, I was going to group therapy and taking 7 anti anxiety,etc. drugs. I took this product about 3 years ago and yes I did loss weight. Yet I started to feel sick while using it. I had tightness in my throat even when I drank gallons of water a day. My mood change negatively, my blood pressure when up. When I started to take this product there wasn't much research on it but I found a report from the FDA now that can give you an idea of the false and dangers product. I wish the best on everybody. Does anyone have a problem with Blue Cross/Blue Shield HMO Blue Covering their script? ## So far,I haven't found an insurance that will help with script?...am still researching. ## i was recently diagnosed with adult adhd and experienced the same problem. My dr wanted to prescribe me Vyvanse b/c I have insomnia w/o taking any meds and most of the stimulants keep you up but Vyvanse wears off around 8 hrs or so. Anyway, blue cross blue shield said I was "too old" to be prescribed the medicine and needed to get a pre-authorization. The pharmacist told me they usually take a long time to approve it. I went back to my pdoc and she gave me Focalin instead. They don't cover this either but the generic was only $45 vs the Vyvanse which was $205. I only took it for one day so far...

Why my doctor giving me ib throat hoaseing? ## @kishore, I've never actually heard of the term "throat hoaseing", and oddly enough I'm not finding anything on search engines relating to it either; nor anything about a "fine heal tablet". Did your doctor not explain to you what that might entail upon notifying you of the procedure? Under normal circumstances most information on medications or procedures can be found with a simple google search, however neither of the things you mentioned are showing any results when I go to look them up. Personally, I wouldn't go through with it until I was able to sit down with my doctor and go over everything in detail about why he/she is recommending it be done in the first place. I have been diagnosed with high cholesterol and am on Aspavor. I am planning on falling pregnant Dec/Jan. and would like to know if taking folic acid in the morning and Aspavor in the evenings safe? I am aware when I do fall pregnant I need to be off the Aspavor. Kindly advise

I've had yeast infections for years. Somewhat chronic since being diagnosed diabetic. I lost a lot of weight, and my doctor says I am no longer considered diabetic. I tried to sign up for Aetna and they declined me as the woman that took my information was so dumb that she put I see a psychiatrist 9-11 times a year which IS NOT true!!! I only see one every 3 or 4 months and I think this lady needs a hearing aid or whatever. Somebody must have been cleaning behind her as she kept saying to that person she couldn't hear!! I'm not sure what difference this would make even if I was seeing a psychiatrist 9-11 times a year which isn't true.
