I am 47 years male and I have creatinin range 1.5 to 2.0 but blood urea is normal. I had a mild Heart attack in 1998. After conducting Engiography , a team of Doctors decided for oral medicines . Still now I am taking the following madicines. 1. Cardace 2.5mg, 2.Metolar 50 Mg, 3. I put it on 7:00 a.m. and shower in the evening at 7:00 p.m. How long are you to keep it on to get the full benefit of the daily dose. I use 2 pumps each leg. 40mg. Thanks!!! ## Hello, Harry! Can i take Essentiale Forte P forever as a maintenance dose to protect my liver ? ## I can only suggest that you consult a doctor. However, even if you do, it is highly unlikely that they will be able to provide an answer as to whether or not you can safely take anything for a life time. As to Essentiale Forte, this is just a nutritional supplement and while the manufacturers claim that is helps with liver problems and protection, this has never actually been proven.
