Someone gave me these as pain meds what r they?? ## Hello, Brittany! How are you? This is manufactured by Heritage Pharmaceuticals and they actually list it as containing 500mgs of Metronidazole, which is an antibiotic. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I can help with?

Does this drug have codiene ## APAP is medical speak for Acetaminophen and the other active ingredient is Hydrocodone, so no, it does not contain Codeine. It is, however, a narcotic pain reliever, generic for Vicodin. Some of the most common side effects include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation.

green oval scored watson 503 ## small green oval pill GG773 supposed to be hydrocodone ## GG773 is definitely NOT Hydrocodone nor any type of narcotic! This tablet actually contains 40mgs of Lovastatin, a generic for Mevacor. This is used to help lower cholesterol. Who led you to believe this was Hydrocodone?

I need a pain doctor in the daytona beach florida area just moved here. affordable i ## Hi jeanetta, In regards to finding a local pain doctor, I have listed below a couple websites specific to locating pain management doctors in a given area. All you have to do is input your city or zip code for narrowed results: {link removed because site no longer exists} You can give this other page a try too if you come up with different results for some reason or another: wellness.com/find/pain%20management%20specialist I'd consider calling up a number of them to see if they are accepting new patients; some aren't, but most usually are. I hope this info helps and wish you all good luck on finding the right doctor! :)

WHAT ARE THE EFFECTS. IS IT ADDICTIVE? ## Yes, Hydrocodone + Acetaminophen (APAP) is very addictive. Many people suffer addiction problems from this. A common brand name of this drug is Vicodin. As with any prescription drug, keep your doctor informed of any and all side effects. More common side effects may include dry mouth, itching, pinpoint pupils, dizziness, drowsiness, constipation, confusion, gas / heartburn, or flushed skin. If you experience irregular heartbeat or chest pain, difficulty breathing, wheezing, unusual weakness, cold / clammy skin, severe rash, fever, chills, or muscle aches and pains then notify your physician or prescriber ASAP! Also note that elderly patients have a higher likelihood of side effects. ## i have been perscribed hydroco/apap 7.5 now for 4 years. th...

My doctor writes my prescription for Hydrodcod/Acetam 5-325 and the maker is Watson. When the drug store filled it last week it has M365 on the pill. I have taken three on three different days and noticed there was no relief. I took one pill 3 hrs ago and there has been no relief. That is the reason I took a pill out of the bottle and found the M365 stamped on the pill. If they are suppose to be the same - why is the pain still there? ## The M365 pills are indeed hydrocodone (5mg) + acetaminophen (325mg); however it may be that certain binders/fillers in these tablets affect bioavailability or how well they get absorbed into your system vs the other brand you're used to taking. If I were in this position, I'd probably see if the prescribing doctor could specify a particular manu...

Daughter had abdominal surgery, after which she was prescribed Hydrocodone/APAP 10/650. She only weights about 108-111, very thin. She started to have a massive headache, started throwing up blood and coughing up blood, had to call 911 to go to her home she was too weak and could barely move or talk. Should she have been prescribed such a high dose at hear weight. ## This is actually not an extremely high dosage, it is fairly standard. The side effects you listed, except for the blood, are all normal for this medication. this site is not medical professionals, so we cannot say with certainty, but the blood may have been caused by the Acetaminophen (APAP) irritating her stomach or it may have been related to the surgery itself. Only her doctors can discover the truth on that. You can rea...

What is the difference between the two medicines that I have listed above. I get sick to my stomach when I took the 10-ITP. I never get sick on the 10/650 ## Is the "ITP" something your doctor wrote on the prescription, or something from the pharmacy that was printed on their label? I'm not finding any information whatsoever on the abbreviation other than: "Idiopathic Thrombocytopenia Purpura (ITP) - a disorder of the immune system that affects the platelets." I also attempted to search for a correlation between ITP and acetaminophen; in which case, patients with ITP can "take only acetaminophen (e.g. Tylenol) for pain or fever, as other over-the-counter pain and fever medications may damage platelet function". Does "ITP" mean anything different to yo...

I went to the dentist, had a quad and lots of fillings. Today she perscribed me hydrocodone/apap 7.5-650 and pencillin vk 500 mg. Can i take them together? I am in alot of pain right now. ## Yes, there are no interactions listed between these medications, though you should always double check such information to be sure. Learn more Penicillin details here and you can learn more Vicodin details here. However, they are often prescribed together to handle pain and infections, I've taken them together myself for dental issues in the past, though I am glad that part of my life is over now, because I don't miss it. :-) The Hydrocodone in the Vicodin is a narcotic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause nausea, dizziness and drowsiness as side effects. I certainly ho...

I will like to know what is a strong pain killer that I could talk yo my dentist, I got 12 teeth pulled out @ once and I been hurtting so bad, can't eat or sleep. I have a throbbing pain, they gave me loracet 10/650. Its just not helping, I had taking vicodin for a long period if time due to allot if kidney problems, stones & infections. So now what I take for pain don't seem to work, will you help me find out what I can take that will help? Thank you for your time, I appreciate it. ## Have you consulted the dentist about this problem? There are other analgesics on the market, however, since they are not regular medical doctors, most dentists will only prescribe from a very limited list of options. You might try asking them about using Percocet, instead. It contains Acetamin...

I found a half white oblong pill with one side ending in the number 65 and the other side ending with the number 6 ## Hi Puma, With only half a pill the other numbers could be anyone's best guess, but I did come across a couple pills that may be suspects: The first is a white oblong pill with 6469 on one side of the pill and a V on the back. If you were to cut it in half you'd have a 6 on one half and a 64 on the other half. It contains 10mgs of Zolpidem tartrate by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. The second is also a white oblong pill with M365 on one side and scored on the back. If this pill was divided you'd have 65 on one half and maybe half of an M on the other that could in some way or another be mistaken for a number depending what sort of condition the pill is in. It cont...

I have taken hydrocone/acetaminophen Tab 7.5 / 650 for several years for a back injury, I am 72 and it cant be fixed. They changed the law so now I get pink pill 7.5 / 325. My doctor assured me that I wouldn't tell the difference. Well I cant even tell I took one I take 3 a day. Something is not right. The one I was taking was M359. Would you please help. Thanks Max ## Hello, Caaseymax! How are you? Of course there's a difference and I don't know why your doctor wasn't upfront about it. The Acetaminophen augments the action of the narcotic, so a lower amount of Acetaminophen means it won't be as potent. You may want to ask your doctor about just taking some extra Acetaminophen with it, or perhaps switching to a different medication. This is a narcotic analgesic, so i...

I have a right below the knee amputation due to a land mine that happened in 1968, have never needed pain meds up until 2 to 3 years ago at which time my doc prescribed hydroc/apap 10-650 mg--formerly lortab. Now it has been changed to the same thing only in a 10-325 mg which from what I have been told was due to a change in the law Jan 2014-the 10-650 did a fair job if I oook one every 4 hrs of course the 10-325 do not seem to help very much, have about a 8 out of ten on the pain chart. My wife was given Oxycod/ap 5-325 when she had Cancer surgery, I have taken some of the leftovers and can go 8 to 10 hrs without much pain at all. Can you tell me if they still made this or something equal to it or even the 10-650 lortab that is easily avaviable? Thanks!!1 ## The tylenol in all prescript...
