Which rx gives better & longer pain relief? ## Hello, Plumber! How are you? This tablet is manufactured by Actavis Elizabeth and they list it as containing 7.5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. This is a generic for Percocet, so it's the same thing. Is there anything else I can help with?

The white oval pain pill with A332 worked for my severe pain and I had never increased the dose. The last refill I received a pink round pill with 229 and a G on the front and it doesn't help me. Why? ## As permitted by the Hatch-Waxman Act of 1984, generics are allowed to differ from the name brand by as much as plus or minus 20% of the active ingredient. However, they do not have to measure against each other, just the name brand, so the prior one you were taking may have been slightly higher, so this one may be lower and not as effective for you. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. Since the differences are slight, many people adjust in about a week...

My mom was taking a generic oxycodone for months it was not Activist. I pick up her scripts and know Activis is toxic from my own experience. The label read Mallinkot it looked different as the strength. Was increased. She said it did not help her pain despite the higher dose. She began to complain of itching too. After several days she was really sick with a swollen face BAD. Called MD several times. I told her to stop the pain med as this was the only thing new. MD prescribed Benadryl and new script for pain. In the meantime looking at her old pill bottle the pills did not match the label description. Looked them up and they were Activist A332. Went to CVSThey only weakly apologized for the error. Since then now my mom is in the hospital with the Actions reaction!!! Super expensive lo...

Almost all Percocets except the ones that have A332 and I can't understand why? When I take that kind of Percocet I am so ill I want to jump out of my own skin but when I take the ones that say A332 I am fine. They do not make me mean and ill and I'm wondering why if they all have the same thing in them? I have had seven hip surgeries and Percocet seems to help some. What is a Vicodin? I thought it was just another name for a hydrocodone. Is it stronger? ## Percocet contains Acetaminophen, and Oxycodone, while Vicodin contains Hydrocodone, and Acetaminophen. Of the two, Oxycodone is stronger. The FDA warns that these medications carry the risk of being habit forming, and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, constipation, and dry mouth. Ref: Oxycodone Info...

I took a pain pill that my co-worker gave me a week ago due to torn ligaments in my knees. I was contacted by a job for an interview and a hair strand drug test. I asked my co-worker what type of pain pill it was and he stated that it was an a332 which is oxycodone and acetaminophen 7.5 mg. I've never taken it before. I'm terrified that i may fail my hair testing.... ## A hair drug test is meant to show consistent use over time. A 1.5 inch sample, cut from the scalp line, will go back 90 days. If you only took one pill it will not show up on a hair drug test. ## Thank you dear..... I feel somewhat better. ## That's not true. I took one 5mg oxycodone two months prior to my hair test and failed.. sorry bud. Best of luck.
