FluShield Influenza Virus Vaccine

Influenza vaccines, also known as flu jabs or flu shots, are vaccines that protect against infection by influenza viruses.[3] New versions of the vaccines are developed twice a year, as the influenza virus rapidly changes.[3] While their effectiveness varies from year to year, most provide modest to high protection against influenza.[3][4] The United States Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimates that vaccinati...

Heparin, also known as unfractionated heparin (UFH), is a medication and naturally occurring glycosaminoglycan.[2][3] Since heparins depend on the activity of antithrombin, they are considered anticoagulants.[4] Specifically it is also used in the treatment of heart attacks and unstable angina.[2] It is given by injection into a vein or under the skin.[2] Other uses include inside test tubes and kidney dialysis ma...

When should I use stat flush an b clear before a test ( time frame ) ## Take pills 3 hours before appointment. With 36 - 40 oz of Water within 10 minutes. Urinate at least 3 times. When at the lab, let the beginning of the urine stream in toilet, then in cup, and the last part of steam in the toilet, because the drug where it most lies at is at the beginning and end of the urine stream. So try to only capture the middle of the stream. The pills allows to mask the drug for a 4-5 hour window. This 4-5 hours becomes effective exactly an hour of consuming the pills. Good luck. It worked for me twice.

When i take alcohol my skin becomes red my heart rate goes high, and I feel unconscious & sleepy.......I have very weak heart & i get scared all the time without any reason. I feel lonely, not talking to anyone, non-energetic, lasy, insecre & unsafe. i don't feel like working & not even come out of home. Please need your advice what to do? ## Dear Raj Raj, Sorry to hear about all your challenges. First, what you have reported when consuming alcohol sounds like the normal effects. Some people just don't tolerate alcoholic beverages well and prefer to avoid them. With regards to how else you are feeling mentally and emotionally, it sounds like you may be dealing with clinical depression, anxiety, or bi-polar disorder. Can you get in to see a psychiatrist soon? It c...

I am 51 and it is now a year since I had a lumpectomy. Prior to starting taking Tamoxifen I was having regular periods but since taking the tablets they have stopped which is great, however, the hot flushes are unbearable especially in this hot weather, they are embarrassing as I literally break out in a sweat. I have also put on a considerable amount of weight which I am finding hard to lose. Please could anyone advise how long the hot flushes are likely to go on for, is it 5 years? I hope not as I don't think I can cope with them. I have tried accupuncture which seemed to help with the flushes but it is relatively expensive as I think it is an ongoing problem. Also worried as a friend who finished taking Tamoxifen a year ago has had to have a hysterectomy due to thickening of the ...

I have been taking 2 x 50mg sage leaf tables to combat hot flushes since about the end of September 2013 but have noticed that the symptoms are coming back a bit. ## Hello, Michelle! How are you? Unfortunately, while sage is claimed to help with hot flashes, it is only a nutritional supplement, which means there is actually no definitive proof that it does so. Have you consulted your doctor? Even if you don't want to use HRT, there are other options, such as a very low dose of the SSRI antidepressant Prozac. I take it for perimenopause symptoms and it really does help, a lot.

i had acne so i was given doxytec.it works for me but now im also using contraceptive pills (genette),won't da doxytec flush da pills? ## Yes, it can lower their efficacy and increase your risk of pregnancy, it would be best to also use a backup method of contraception. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this antibiotic as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Genette may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, breakthrough bleeding and PMS-like symptoms. Is there anything else I can help with?

Was prescribed clonidine for hot flashes and night sweats. Has been very effective in stopping night sweats but instead of lowering my blood pressure my blood pressure has gone through the roof. Yesterday and today I have been getting blood pressure readings of like187/90 and 179/80. I do have high blood pressure but take meds for this and in usually about 140/80. The doctor was worried they're taking the clonidine might take the blood pressure too low but it has had the opposite effect Has anyone heard of this happening and have any idea why? I am not going to take anymore but I am dreading the return of the night sweats ## Hello, Barbara! How are you? Sorry about the side effects that you're experiencing. What are you taking it to treat? If it's for hypertension, then there should be plenty of other options available for you to try, even in India. I took Oxycodone after shoulder surgery for about 3 and 1/2 days. Besides feeling nauseous my face got quite flushed. I stopped taking it & have been off it for almost 4 days. My face is still flushed & skin is quite dry. Should I be concerned & what can I do for my face besides using facial cream to hydrate yet doesn't seem to be working? ## My friend I think you're just dehydrated, I had the same thing happen to me when I started on pain meds. They notoriously dry you up, I would recommend you to get a few bottles of Pedialyte, drink a couple in one day then sip one over the next few days. I think you'll find that it will help a great deal. Also if you've been having issues going to the restroom thats a fairly sure sign you may be a bit dehydrated. Take car...

I take Nifedipine 60 mg each morning. Previously I was on 30 mg twice a day. I feel warmth and notice redness in my lower legs and face about an hour after taking my medication. I also seem very tired about an hour after taking it. Is this common? Does it ever go away? Thank you! ## Yes, those issues can both be side effects of Nifedipine, according to FDA reports, you may also experience nausea, dizziness, heartburn, and headache. Ref: Medline Plus Nifedipine How long have you been taking it? Side effects typically hit their peak about 4 to 6 weeks in, as your body gets used to the medication, and it reaches its full level of efficacy in your body, then they begin to taper off, and eventually disappear. However, if these are severe, you may need to try a different medication, or need a...

How to flush norco out of your body. I need to find a way cause its too steong for me ## Hello, Tammy! How are you? What type of problems did you experience from taking it? The only thing that is really going to help, now, is time. Your body will handle things on its own, depending on how much you've taken, it may take anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with?

I have been on this for 5 days. The last 3 days I have been having hot flushes and they have been getting more frequent. 8 in total today. I have never had these before and it's scary. I take it at 11 am. By about 10 pm I have a headache but no more flushes. I am going to call my doctor tomorrow morning before its time to take it. But I read 0.02% of people get this and also it is prescribed for the exact problem I have. Any suggestions. It starts with a really hot feeling in my sinuses and that lasts for about a minute. Then I get this slow cool feeling under my skin that travels down my body. I go really pale and my body feels like it is melting with the amount of sweat coming off me. Just would like to know if garnicia combogia be flush from your system within 4hrs .. As I'm breastfeeding and have been taking these diet pills during the day while baby is on bottle. But been drinking alot of water during a 4hr period and giving baby breast at night is it safe can it be flushes out in time or should I just not give her at all ## Hello, Keza! How are you? Are you using this to help limit your appetite? You really shouldn't be doing that, while you're breast feeding, it may cause a lack of essential nutrients for your infant. Additionally, anything you take while breastfeeding should be checked with your doctor, before taking it, because you could be dosing your baby, as well.

I'm on day 3 of a 6 day prescription of Methylpredisolone prescribed for acute bronchitis. My face is extremely flushed and I think it's the med. Is there any danger in stopping before any other symptoms should occur? I'm not interested in subscribing to the health newsletter but hope you will still address my issue. Thank you ## That can be a normal side effect of this medication, according to the FDA and yes, it could be dangerous to stop it, rather than tapering it, as prescribed. Other side effects may possibly include nausea, dizziness, headache, insomnia, nausea, mood swings, and nervousness. They are usually harmless and should go away a few days after you finish your course of treatment. Are you on any other medications?

I have been on Phentermine for a couple years and have noticed after eating my face gets hot and flushed. I have been tested for lupus along with other autoimmune diseases. The only one that came back a little high was rheumatoid arthritis. I stopped taking it and everything seemed to go back to normal. I had stopped for a month and a half. I started again and within 3 days my face was back to getting flushed and hot after meals. I could eat something as simple as a salad and it would happen. Anyone else have this happen? ## Yes, Flushing has been found in women that take Phentermine. I "found" 300 2 mg Xanax pills not sure how to get rid of them. If I throw them out in my regular trash and someone finds them and dies I'll be responsible. I can't have that on my soul. Looking for suggestions ## I flushed them down the toilet took A couple flushes to get them down. I didn't want to have anyone get hurt by them. I'd imagine 300 Xanax pills would be deadly. I'm sorry for all the people here who need them and can't get them and here I have a few and have no use for them anymore. Wish everyone the best ## Good call! Can u flush vivitrol from ur system? It's making me very sore and tired all day, but I still can't sleep either. I had it one week ago and I can't take it anymore. ## Hi Joz, Sorry to hear about your situation. According to the FDA, Vivitrol has an estimated elimination half-life of 5 to 10 days (at which point only half of the dose you took would theoretically be out of your body). However, the FDA notes that this time frame is dependent upon the erosion of the polymer... I would also conclude that a variety of individual factors may heavily influence whether you're closer to the 5 day mark vs 10 day mark in its half life. Lastly, the FDA states that the elimination half life of Vivitrol and its metabolites occurs primarily via urine; so I'd agree that drinking lots...
