I have used Midrin sometimes over the last 30 years for migraines. Then I could not find any. Midrin is the only thing that works for me. I had a severe migraine that lasted 10 days and I now have a blind spot where the flashing lights were for all that time. The eye doctor I saw 24 hours into this did not find anything serious, because the effect is in the part of the brain that processes vision. I finally found out about compounding pharmacies and my doctor wrote the prescription for the 3 ingredients: C-Acet 325mg/dichloralphena/isometh65mg I found a compounding pharmacy in my area. The prescription was faxed to them with my pharmacy insurance info. I picked it up the same day. My insurance covered it with a somewhat higher co-pay. Midrin has been made hard to get as it was not teste...

I've been on suboxone for about 8 months. Starting dosage was 2 -8mg a day.after months I've tapered down to about .50-.30mg very very small piece and been on that for a month, it's not as bad but I'm still tired and get light heat flashes. Any thoughts on what I should do from here? ## Is your intention to fully get off of Suboxone anytime soon? If so, I think you're certainly on the right track. Usually for drugs like this the safest way to stop taking them is to tapper off in fractions (actually cut into pieces) and these smaller pieces can be taken in place of the regular dose for a period of several weeks until the body is no longer dependent upon them. Based on the amount you're taking now, I'd say your just about out of the woods! Another user on here ...

I've been taking viibryd for 3 months in place of Prozac. I've had a problem remembering my dose because of the "take w food" requirement.... sometimes forget to take it w dinner. Two times now while incredibly overtired, and when forgetting my dose, I have had the scariest experience. When falling asleep, the feeling of drowsiness is so strong, yes like paralysis, and then in my mind's eye I start to see "light bulb flashing" and then I hear voices, and worse my typical ringing in my ears can really kick up the volume! I struggle to open my eyes and even to take a gasp of air! What is this? Talk about really messed up. I am so busy that I really don't want to start changing meds up right now so I will be more diligent and not miss a dose. But I tell you,...

I am on day 4 without Pristiq in my system. I was on 100mg for 5 years then dropped to 50mg for a few months. I tried taking a pill every other day but on my off day I was having awful withdrawal symptoms so decided to just stop taking it and get this over with. The withdrawal symptoms are driving me crazy, brain zaps, hot/cold flashes, headaches, vertigo, anxiety. My doctor said I can wait it out until Thursday and see if it gets better otherwise it's to a different drug that can be weaned off more easily. Does anyone have any success stories for weaning off pristiq and surviving the symptoms? It would be nice to know there is a light at the end of the tunnel! ## I didn't do it with Pristiq, it was a different medication, but I can assure you that there is light at the end of t...

I take 90mg of Cymbalta and 900mg of Gabapentin daily for fibromyalgia. I also take Quetiapine 100mg for insomnia nightly. I am prescribed Xanax for anxiety which I take as needed not daily. My concern is that today I took 80 mg of Adderall from a co worker and within minutes my heart was racing, I started sweating like crazy for at least a couple of hours and my pupils were dilated. I looked up symptoms online and it linked me to Serotonin Syndrome. After reading the "Major" interaction Cymbalta has with Adderall, I avoided taking my daily dose of Cymbalta today. My concern is that as the day has moved along, my eyes are really sensitive to lights and although I am having hot flashes, I am cold. Sweaty palms and a mild headache. Question 1 - is this an OD? Question 2- how long aft

I have a lot of eye floaters and I'm only a teenager. I started wearing glasses 8 years ago. I have a lot of them. There are ones that look like cobwebs, giant gray strands and the clumped floaters. They are not that bad to block my vision. It's just it's really scary. I've read somewhere on the internet that my eye floaters are benign (I've diagnosed myself which is stupid). Also, maybe the reason I have these giant grey floaters is because some floaters are close to the retina. I've also read about vitreous syneresis which is harmless. No, I have not experienced flashes of light. These floaters have been around for over a month now with no change. I am a hypochondriac so I'm afraid I'm having a retinal detachment or PVD or something. I'm very scared...
