Feverall Acetaminophen

Paracetamol, also known as acetaminophen,[a] is a medication used to treat fever and mild to moderate pain.[11][12] At a standard dose, paracetamol only slightly decreases body temperature;[11][13][14] it is inferior to ibuprofen in that respect,[15] and the benefits of its use for fever are unclear.[11][16][17] Paracetamol may reliev...

Hi, my nephew has been suffering from a fever for 1 day, so can we give him Ampilox c tablets? Please reply fast. ## This is an antibiotic, so it will only help to treat or prevent bacterial infections. The NIH lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, diarrhea, and non-allergic skin rash. Is there anything else I can help with? ## My 9-year-old daughter has a fever of 193.3F now. What type of tablet & antibiotic should be used (with timings, dosage)?

i am getting light fever in the nights from past 8 days. I am married and age 26years. I am doing job. timings 9.30 to 6pm ## Have you talked to a doctor? You should do so, to get to the root of the problem. It can be normal for your body temperature to elevate, at night, it can also be caused by hormones, if you are ovulating, but it could be a medical problem, as well. Without an exam, it is really difficult to make a guess. ## When fever temp high same as blood also. if it correct this temp blood passes through heart can liquidate vane blockages. My doubt is correct or not pl. explain.

I’m a 35 yr old female that had abnormal bleeding from PCOS and after a blood transfusion, put on megace to stop the bleeding. This was in July 2017. I’ve been running high fevers since October, non stop. Highest 103.0. I’ve been admitted and they’ve ran every test imaginable. Every test is coming back negative.Theyve rested me for Lyme, West Nile, meningitis, CT’s of Head, abdomen, pelvic, you name it, I’ve had it tested. I’m curious to know if Megace has given anyone else these “unexplained” fevers? I? have the doctors baffled, yet spoke with an oncologist today and think we might be on to this medication. Anyone else experience this? ## Yes, it has been known to cause fevers and hot flashes, according to FDA reports. Other side ef...

I'm age 22+ and I've had a fever for two days now... Can anyone please recommend which medicine should be taken? ## I've had a fever and body pain for the past 2 days and l take a combination of the following medications, but my fever is still not going away. 1 Dolo 650 2 Zerodol P 3 Mox 500 4 Ranitidin 300 Can anyone please give me some advice? ## How high are the fevers you both are worried about? In most cases, a mildly elevated body temperature can be lower by using Paracetamol, or a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory, such as Ibuprofen, or Naproxen. The NIH warns that they may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, increased risk of bleeding, and headache. But it really depends on how high your fever is, and what is causing it. I've been on 120mg of verapamil for about 3 months. I take it for vestibular migraines. My neurologist doubled my dose to 240mg last week to see if it would help with persistent dizziness. I've had zero problems on the 120mg. I thought I was doing ok on the increased dose, but started running a low grade fever (99.5-100.9). I really have no other symptoms. The fever is persistent and will drop down for maybe an hour or two with anti-pyretics. Then it pops right back up. It's very weird, and I've never experienced anything like this before. I dropped my dose 3 days ago back to 120mg to see if the fever would break - no luck. It's been over a week now and I have developed a slightly productive cough in the last couple of days. I'm waiting to hear from my neurologis...

My mother (age 69) received a Reclast infusion 36 hours ago. She currently has a fever of 101.8 and has the chills and has felt shaky. She has called her primary care doctor and the doctor who prescribed Reclast but since it's after hours she can only talk to their help lines. They said to head to the ER only if her fever reaches 103 degrees. They said she can take Advil or Tylenol for the fever. I read on the FDA site that Reclast can affect the kidneys so I'm suggesting Tylenol for her (since that's processed in the liver not the kidneys). I also read she should drink a lot of water. Can anyone speak to a similar experience? Is there anything else we should be doing? ## How is your mother doing, now? As reported by the FDA, those can be normal side effects of Reclast. She ...

You could experience a reduction in those symptoms within the first week or it might take some time. ## Hi Mark, Judging from the wording of your post, I couldn't exactly interpret whether you were replying to someone in particular or just stating some facts you found on the internet about "myelofibrosis fever (MF)"? In either case, what I can agree with is that the prognosis of MF is in fact different for every patient. One important thing to be aware of if you have Myelofibrosis, is that even if you don't experience any symptoms, a doctor could still find "signs" of it during a physical examination (i.e. an enlarged spleen or pale mucous membranes). So it would probably be best to have yourself checked out periodically until you know for certain that it's g...
