I hade shingles in the right eye four years ago and still have pain in the right side of my face and right side of my head will aspergel help this ## Hello, Alice! How are you? Have you consulted your doctor? It might be due to some nerve damage, and if that is the case, the Aspergel may not be strong enough to help. The FDA lists its typical side effects as including skin redness, irritation and rash. Are you on any other medications?

I started taking Macrobid for a UTI, I only took one pill yesterday and one today. This afternoon my right eye hurts and waters some. I have had dry eye issues in the eye previously. I am also female and 62 years old. Will this go away when I quit the Macrobid? ## It might not, actually, according to the FDA, this medication has been known to cause optic neuritis, which can sometimes result in permanent damage to the optic nerve. It would be best to have this checked, because you may need to switch to a different medication. Have you experienced any other side effects?

My younger brother aged 35 years had a problem of double vision in left eye due to nerve damage and as per doctor advise, he used wysolone tablets 120mg per day along with other medicines for 45 days. The doctor did not told us the side effect of wysolone and precautions which we have to take while using wysolone. We don't know that wysolone is a steroid. Due to this drug, my brother got side effects such as round face, double chin, rashes on all over body and heavy hungry. His eye problem is reduced in these 45 days. after 45 days, the doctor reduced wysolone drug by 80mg, 60mg,40mg like that per day. After 3days, he got problems of loose motions and vomtings and he became very weak. I took him to hospital. Doctors told that he is suffering with lack of immunity power due to steroi...

Hi all. I've been taking 300mg of lyrica for 7 mo. which has been a miracle for my spine nerve damage however I have become completely stupid (no memory) and have developed neurovascular eye disease. Anyone else have this? Sorry for the post not being very clear lol as I said I'm brain dead! I almost forgot to mention the rash. I've developed a rash on my right calf only. I've been to a lot of drs an all my blood work has been normal. I KNOW it's the Lyrica. I can't stop though. When I stopped taking it I was literally bedridden. The Lyrica helps so much with the pain that I've decided the side effects are worth it, at least I can function, even if I do go around in circles most of the time. Other drug companies are coming out with similar drugs soon hopefull...

I had nerve pain in my forehead (on the right side above my eyes), diagnosed as fibromyalgia or a mild form of trigeminal neuralgia. I have been taking Pregabalin OD 100 mg twice daily for more than 18 months and Tegretol CR 200 - 1/2 tablet three times a day for 12 months. I also take a vitamin supplement daily. No other medications. My age is 71, male. I have not observed any side effects except for increased appetite and some memory loss, which may not be related to these medications but just age-related. Can I continue these medications for so long without causing kidney, liver, or heart damage? ## I have PTSD, extremely bad anxiety and my back has been broke twice. I was on Xanax and it helped me so much. I have Medicare and want to find a Doctor who believes Xanax helps patients #...

Has anyone had iluvien insert for Diabetic Macular Endima? What was your criteria to go for Iluvien vs other treatments? ## Hello, Chris! How are you? Inluvien is approved for us in patients who have previously tried a course of corticosteroids and had no significant rise in intraocular pressure. One provides sustained treatment for 36 months. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including cataract formation, optic nerve damage, visual field defects and secondary ocular infection. Has anyone used this that can chime in? ## How many ILUVIEN shots can I get in one eye? I heard that the capsule does not dissolve and remains in the eye forever. I have had just one implant so far and it will wear out soon. It's been almost 3 years since I received it.
