I've searched all over Google and haven't found the answer to what this pill is. I found it on my friends floor. It's a white oblong pill with black letters on one side that say EX-IB. It's not serrated. ## I found one of those too! I've been searching online for what it is, but I'm coming up with nothing.

Is it safe to take ibuprofen that expired 3 years ago? What are the pros or cons? That’s all I have to ask. ## It doesn't become dangerous, but it may have lost some efficacy, according to FDA warnings, so it may not work as well as it did, when it was new. Overall, it usually best to dispose of expired medications, and purchase a new supply. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? Specifically, regarding your question, it might be milder than it originally was so that's a pro, but it might not work as well as you need, which could be a con. You should also take into consideration any other medications you are on, and if your doctor ...

I'm on my second dose of these tablets and I'm taking the capsules 4 times a day and it's making me drowsy. Please advise if I should continue treatment? ## That can be a normal side effect of antibiotics, as reported by the U.S. FDA. You may also experience nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash, and diarrhea. How long will you be taking it?

I poot and poop a lot every day. Some days are worse. I always go 20 to 30 times a day. But some days are worse not only do I sometimes go up to 55 times a day I sometimes get explosive BMs all day. I can never go just once I have severe attacks making me go literally every one minute. It's kind of like I pull my pants up walk out the bathroom door then right back I go. What makes it worse is I always have to poot then immediately have to poop. Every poot makes me poop. But my poots are weird. I have a long loud regular sounding poot that turns into a wet churning sound. I always have noisy poop but some days it's like so loud it can be heard outside. Today I've had all explosive BMS. And my attacks consist of constant poots following poop 8 to 12 times in a row. Usually it'

I have a brand new bottle Advil (ibuprofen) unopened with the seal still intact with an expiration date of may 2010 are they still good? ## @Jackie, There's actually a lot of conflicting information around the topic of expired medication, but according to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. This conclusion was based upon a study conducted at the request of the US military due to stockpiles of expensive drugs they could otherwise need to replace every few years. The conclusion was that 90% of those drugs remained effective 10 - 15 years after the expiration date. I don't know whether or not the drug you have happens to ...

What happens if you take 7 tablets of 800 MG Ibuprofen? ## if you feel you need to take 7 of any pill you may need to seek counseling....but......ok ok i am guessing you will get seriously nauseous ## Overdosing on Ibuprofen is a real concern: "Ibuprofen overdose has become common since it was licensed for over-the-counter use. There are many overdose experiences reported in the medical literature, although the frequency of life-threatening complications from ibuprofen overdose is low.[16] Human response in cases of overdose ranges from absence of symptoms to fatal outcome in spite of intensive care treatment. Most symptoms are an excess of the pharmacological action of ibuprofen and include abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, drowsiness, dizziness, headache, tinnitus, and nystagmus. ...

I have a white tablet. It may be an out of date entexpse, humibid la, sulfatrim800,or ibuprofen 800mg. Imprint in only on one side: RC SPE with a line in center. It is large and white, oblong in shape. I need to find out, I see that other people can't find it either - that is why I think it is something expired. ## It doesn't necessarily mean that it is expired, it could mean that it is something available over the counter and those aren't required to have their imprints logged with the FDA. Since I haven't been able to find any listings for this, I have to make the guess that it is probably something that's available over the counter. Does anyone recognize this tablet?

My boyfriend ordered these male enhancement pills(unaware that i know about it) and i just wanted to make sure they are legit. What color are they? They are blue in the pack that i saw. I also saw some purple ones. There is no writing on the purple one's. I don't really remember if there is writing on the blue ones. Both were rather large as if the same size as an ibprofun. ## I have no idea on the color, these are an over the counter supplement, not a prescription drug, so they are not strictly regulated and information on them is not readily available. There is a company website where you may be able to find more information: Extenze Click Here ## They are blue. My boyfriend used them for 3 mths and we have not noticed any magical change. I think it is a scam. Be careful if yo...

Im taking ibilex 500 cephalexin for a urinary tract infection and now I have very sore breasts. Is this a side effect? If so, should I stop taking it? ## Hello, Vicki! How are you doing? No, I haven't found anything listing that as a known side effect. Have you consulted your doctor? Are you on any other medications? ## I also get heavy breasts with extremly sensitive nipples ## Hi, I'm on my fourth day of ibilex 500, 3 times a day and suddenly felt so dizzy and nauseous I couldn't walk in a straight line. I need to know if hydrocodone ibuprofen expires? the prescription was filled 10/11/2010..will it be safe or effective? ## To answer your question, yes these medications do have an expiration date, but it may be a lot farther away than you might expect. According to a Harvard Medical School family health article, except in rare cases (i.e. tetracycline), there is little chance of danger due to taking medications even up to 15 years beyond their expiration date. Source: health.harvard.edu/fhg/updates/update1103a.shtml I wouldn't be surprised if it lost some of its potency by now, but based on what I've read I think it would be perfectly fine to still use it as needed. How are you feeling? I'm very sorry about the side effects that you've been having. And yes, I think you should see your doctor about trying a different antibiotic. The problem breathing is very concerning and could signify the start of an allergic reaction, which may just get worse with repeated exposure to this medication. According to the FDA, typical antibiotic side effects should include symptoms, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, non-allergic skin rash and diarrhea. Is there anything else I...

I needed some pain meds and found an old bottle of Ibuprofen in my drawer and wondered if it has lost some potency or would be harmful? ## Certain drugs are actually okay to take after expiration, whereas others such as antibiotics can become toxic. My personal assumption is that it lost a good percentage of its potency by now, having been 5 years old. It may still be somewhat effective, but not nearly as potent. It's also impossible to give a direct answer to this question, since each medication can effect people differently. We all know that it's better to avoid the expired drugs and stay on the safe side, but unfortunately, the only way to find out if it works is to actually try it. I wouldn't suggest taking that risk, but if you have no other option then it's probabl...
