I was taking Tonact 20 and Ecosprin 150 separately. Tonact 20 costs about rs.200 for 15 tablets. I came across Ecosprin AV 150 containing both above ingredients in single capsule and costing just rs.20 for 10 tablets. This lowers the medicine bill to absolute low. But what is the catch? Does Ecosprin AV 150 have Atorvastatin that is of low quality and that is why they are selling it at such low price or is it genuine medicine at low price because of some other factors? if so, what are the factors? ## Do you have Insurance to help you? If so, the price difference maybe because you insurance company "prefers" you to take the "2 in 1" pill than taking them separately. In my country (i am a phamracist) we don´t have the "2 in 1".

I am 74 yrs. I had heart bypass in Dec 2013. As per advice I am taking Ecosprin AV 150 & Amlopin 2.5 mg one tablet a day.I get a little congestion in throat & also have cough in the sputem. Can it be the side effect of the above medicines ? ## Those aren't usual side effects, according to the NIH, they typically include nausea, dizziness, headache, joint/muscle aches, increased risk of bleeding, and easy bruising. Are you on any other medications? The Amlopin can cause a dry cough as a side effect.

My mother used to take Ecosprin AV 150 and used to feel good. But suddenly doctor stopped prescribing Ecosprin Av 150 and when I asked him he told that he had replace it with Tonact 10 and now it is one month she is not feeling well and doctor suggested Angiography as there might be minor blockages.

Since, two years I have been taking these two medicines regularly. Now, I hope there are side effects. The problem is my hands & legs gets numb when I sit or lay atleast for 10/20 minutes in the same position. I am 73 yrs old man & I am facing problem in my both feet. Doctor advise me to take medicine GLA 120 (3 times daily),one capsul Majic Plus, Fresium5 one tablet & ecosprin AV 150 one tablet. As per doctors the nerves of my feet are weak as such to avoid further complications on my feet , doctor advise me to take above medicines. Hello, My father, a diabetic from last 10 years, suffered from a heart attack 2 months back and had an angioplasty done with 2 stents implanted. He has been prescribed medicines such as Aspirin (Ecosprin-AV 150 ) and Clopidogrel (clopilet 75) among others. After taking these medicines for 2 months, he suffered from extreme gastrointestinal bleeding and had to be hospitalized under ICU care and was also administered 6 bottles of blood. Now he is fine, but it is known that the main undesirable side effects of aspirin are gastrointestinal bleeding, stomach bleeding, etc especially in higher doses. Earlier I was advised to take Ecosprin AV150 and I am taking the medicine for over 9 years. Now I am advised by the doctor to change it to Clopitab A75.As such I am not having colostral. I have been prescribed Aztor F(10/145) by my cardiologist alongwith other medicines like Deplatt 75 mg(OD); ecosprin 150 mg(OD), corbis 2.5 mg(OD); Ramistar 5 mg OD; glyciphase 500 mg BD, pantocid 40 mg.
