If periods start at the age of five years..... What are the main reasons and treatment... ## Hello, Sam! How are you? Usually, it's due to premature hormonal development. Many of our foods and some water supplies are contaminated now with various sources of estrogens, many girls are starting puberty at much younger ages than usual. Treatment depends on how she is developing. Some doctors may not see any treatment as being required, but if the girl isn't dealing well with it, or isn't developing normally, they may prescribe something to shut her hormones down for several years. What has the child's pediatrician advised?

I am 27 years old lady and planning for a baby. My periods are irregular from last 4 months. My doctor prescribed progesterone 200 mg capsule for 10 days as my progesterone level is low. Need Immediate help. I have my expected periods on 1st oct and a trip on 25th Sep to 2nd oct. I wanted to have my periods before 25th to be free on vacation. I consulted a doc, she gave me Primoult n 6 tabs in a day and asked me to take it on 12, 13,14 sep and said my periods will come in 2-3 days and i'll be free by 25th. Its 22nd today my periods have not come and just 4 days left for my vacation. I've been on Lo Loestrin Fe for almost 2 years. For the first year or so, I had some light periods, some were just skipped, but 4 months ago I started two weeks early, and bled for almost 3 weeks. Since then, I haven't had a period, even though I haven't missed a single pill. And this month, I've had really awful cramping for several days. I took a test and it was negative, so I'm not pregnant. Plus I've suddenly gained 15 pounds, even though I work out 3x/week and watch what I eat. As we r going to travell northern india as temples for a month starting from 3rd may till 4th june . I had my period normally last month, then this month - 10 days before I was supposed to get my period - I started spotting, and just thought it was during ovulation. My boyfriend is coming back from college and he is only going to be in town for the weekend. Hi... I have been getting irregular periods. This month when i got my periods on the 3rd my doctor gave me regestrone 5 mg and told me to start these after 22nd and to take 2 tablets each day for 5 days. I made a mistake and confused it with another tablet she gave me and started taking these on the 9th that was the 5th day of my period itself. My periods stopped on the 7th day and by now i've already taken 6 of these tablets... I'm really scared as to what will happen if i consumed these so early.
