I've came across a blueish Oblong pill with imprint only on one side S4. Can someone please tell me what it could be? ## Hi Robert, Based on your description the closest match I'm finding is a 25mg Diphenhydramine hydrochloride tablet, that is a pink oblong/oval pill with S4 on one side and blank on the other. Apparently it is manufactured by Himprit Pharma Chem, out of india. I also came across a 10mg Simvastatin, red oblong/oval pill with S4 on one side and blank on the other. This one happens to be manufactured by Accord Healthcare. I realize that the color is off on the two pills I just mentioned, but still wanted to post their details in case you or any other readers desired to contact either of these manufacturers, in order to determine whether or not they make a blue vers...

Is there any white oval pain pill without any imprints? ## It would either be an over the counter product, or a foreign medication. All prescription tablets in the U.S. are required by law to have a unique imprint to enable their identification. Learn more prescirption medication details here. Where was it found? Do you know anything else about it? ## Hi Darla, If there is a pain pill without any imprints, then it is most likely not a prescription drug or one that is manufactured in the U.S. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. Is this something you ordered online by chance?

I need to know all the manufacturer's and colors and imprints of oxycodone/acetaminophen 10/325, because of problems with all the changes with the compounds that they are changing within these pain pills, as well as manufacturer's changing hands. I lately have been having problems with them. They make me sick they Constipate me to another level. Some people are for example stating that some are waxy, thicker, as well as not as effective. Problems with absorption? I need as much detailed information as possible please. I have had many different side effects. I believe that they can be more harmful now ty ## Hi Dream, sorry to hear about all of your challenges with your medication. Probably a big part of the reason that you're having these issues is because there are many diff...

There is a white pill with G on one side and DH30 on the other side. Half of this pill made me to have a deep good sleep, but now I can't find it. Can anyone identify it? ## Hello Omid, Was the prescription for this medication filled in the UK? The reason I ask is I was able to find a small bit of information on a 30 mg dihydrocodeine tablet that matches your description. Below is the additional information I found on this medication. Imprint: DH30;G. Color: White Shape: Round PIP Code: 109-2600 EAN Code 560076 Manufacturer: Generics (UK) I hope this information helps. Let me know if there is anything else you would like to know regarding this pill.

Does anyone know if these pills are legit? They are from Biotech Pharma Clinic, they are methandrostenolone white circular pills that have a U and a V on one side and just a line on the other. No one has a clue what they are.. and I'm interested.. thank you ## Hi Korey, Based on my research, the white round pills with the UV imprint are manufactured by Univet; a pharmaceutical company in Mexico. I do believe that the pills are Dianabol (methandrostenolone), but I can't say for sure if they contain (10 mg) of the active ingredient. It's hard to identify drugs of this nature due to the fact that the imprints are quite vague- and there's definitely a chance that these pills could be less potent than those from more "well known" or reputable manufacturers. I hope my ...

I was told it was Oxycontin SR 100mg, but it difffers in features from other Canadian pharmacy oxycontin. One side has 100 imprinted. However, instead of the CDN imprint, there are symbols or a logo on the other side. Looks a bit like a smiley face, but that depends on how you rotate the pill. Please see images below: ## The symbol on the back side of the pill appears to be a P, standing for the manufacturer Pharmascience. Here is an image from their site: If you visit their online product catalog at and then click on the letter T to view those medications, it is listed as Topiramate 100 mg. So it is not an Oxycodone. This is an anticonvulsant drug used to treat epilepsy in children and adults. It is sometimes used as an antidepressant. For more information about this drug please see:...

a white thin oblong pill with a triangle like symbol ## There are triangle imprints used by several manufacturers, they are usually generic pills and there are far too many for me to be able to post pictures of them. What does the symbol look like? Is it similar to an hourglass? If so, that's the Ivax logo and they make many different generic products. Are there any other markings on the tablet? Like letters or numbers? ## Pink round pill with triangle with p inside the triangle on top /score mark/ 151 on bottom ## Hello.I am pharmacist from Poland, with large passion to my job...Today I found an oval ,white ,10mm lenght,6mm wide pill with imprinted on one side number 2 and there is a letter u,or n inside triangular ,more like shield of a knight shaped logo. Okay, first off, let me state that not every drug of the same kind is going to look the same, so asking what Vicodin or Oxycontin looks like will not get you anywhere. There are hundreds of manufacturers that make these pills when they become available for generic production and the color, size, and shape are all totally up to the whit and whim of the manufacturer. There are no proprietary guidelines saying the all have to look the same. The only requirements from the FDA state that all prescription drugs sold in the US must have unique imprints for identification purposes. Then, these imprints, within a company will vary with the dosage of the med, and whether or not it is a pill or a capsule even if it is the same mgs. Secondly, the letter V or M on a pill DOES NOT stand for Vicodin, ...

India does not appear to regulate and list all of their approved prescription medications and the classifications like many other countries do. Lots of the time, it is even hard to identify many of their medications because they don't keep a log of all the imprints. Is there a ministry of health that you can contact that might be able to help you? ## 'NRx' is written on some drugs by manufacturer. What is the meaning of 'NRx'? Whats the directions to the medicine? Weight per pill ## @Boo, There's no way (at least that I know of) to look up veterinary drugs via their lot # on the package. It would seem to me that the lot numbers are only used for organization at the manufacturer's discretion during the drug making/packaging/inventory process but probably serve no other purpose. Do you have any other specific details to share about the pill's physical description, such as its shape, color, size, imprints, etc? I just think we'll need a little more information to accurately identify what type of worm pill this is and hopefully that'll help us research proper dosing protocols from there. oval shaped pill ## Sorry, you have not provided enough information. This drug is available in both name brand and generic versions. There are many generic manufacturers and each one of them will make a pill that looks different. There are no rules saying that pills with the same ingredient have to look the same! The size, color, shape and imprint will all vary from manufacturer to manufacturer. The only relevant regulations from the FDA state that they must have unique imprints for identification purposes, but these will even differ by manufacturer and strength of the med. In order to identify your pill for you and tell you what it is, you need to provide the complete imprint from the pill, all letters, numbers and/or symbols that may be on it, as well as the color and shape. GGL7==BLANK 93===787 Z==99= 3 pills description of both sides=these are supposed to be Atenolol, why different #s on these, are they all the same=the z/99 pill is a little bigger ## Yes, they are all 25mgs of Atenolol. The reason for the different numbers is because the US FDA requires all prescription medications to have unique imprints in order to identify the active ingredient, dosage and manufacturer, so if they are made by different companies, then the imprint will be different. Atenolol is a generic for Tenormin, it is used to treat various cardio-vascular diseases, including hypertension. Common side effects may include: nausea, headache, dizziness and hair loss. a medium sized round white pill on one side it has a capital h and 134 there is nothing on the other side ## What is a small white pill with imprints H 134 on one side. The other side is blank. Will you tell me what this pill is? ## It is a homeopathic pill called Improflu. It really works, so the FDA sued the manufacturers and got it removed. Knowing it did what the label indicated it would it do, a rarity indeed, I bought up every bottle I could find on the market. Red and yellow capsule - NO imprint at all. Maybe an antibiotic or Cipro...... ## I don't think this pill was manufactured in the U.S., as it has no letter or number imprints. U.S. law requires that all prescription drugs have unique letters or numbers (sometimes in addition to a logo of some kind) imprinted on the tablets or capsules so the medication can be identified by manufacturer, substance and dosage. However, the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there could be many, many pills on the market, both over the counter or prescription that could meet that physical description. Unless you obtained this pill on the street, the only other thing I can suggest is that you try asking your local doctor or pharmacist for more information.

what is the dosage ## What dosage is the blue clonazapam pill? ## There is really no way to say for sure unless you provide more information on the pill, there are actually several different blue Clonazepam pills of differing dosages made by different manufacturers. This is a generic drug and once a drug is released from its proprietary patent, it is open for manufacturing by any pharmaceutuical company that wishes to make and market it. Per FDA regulations, all prescription drugs in the US must have unique imprints on the pills for identification purposes. There are, however, no regulations for colors. So just saying it is blue does not tell us enough to be able to tell you what dosage it is. You need to state the shape and imprint of the pill. Thanks. I will find you an answer as soon...

This pill is a white round pill with the numbers 104 and other side blank. I was get Percocet with the letters Rp on it are these Percocet 5mg/325 ## Hello, DB! How are you? According to federal law in the U.S., all manufactured prescription medications must have unique imprints to enable their identification, in case of emergency. The imprints must be logged with the FDA and enable someone to look up the dosage and manufacturer. Thus, when you receive the same medication from your pharmacy, but it looks different or has different markings, that means it has been manufactured by a different company. The tablet with the 104 marking is manufactured by Mylan Pharmaceuticals and they list it as containing 5mgs of Oxycodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The FDA classifies this as a narcotic a...

I found round white pills n a prescription bottle for lorcet generic for norco but there are no writing or imprints on them ## All prescription drugs sold in the U.S. have to have an imprint. ## @Sassy, BL is correct - all prescriptions in the US have to have an imprint by law to identify the substance, dosage, and manufacturer. If you found something unmarked, I would have to assume that it's probably an over-the-counter medication, supplement, illicit, or perhaps a medication that was brought back from overseas. That leaves a large gap as to what it may be with all the possibilities. Was this found in your own prescription bottle or someone else's?
