Dr In Pa That Prescribes Pain Meds

Are there any pain management or good dr's that prescribe pain meds in volusia county? I'm currently on oxycodone 10/325 they hardly help and kill my stomach. I'm almost 60 years old i have severe arthritis in my hands and knee, multiple back issues. In the past i was on oxycodone 20mg & 30mg those worked great. I will pay cash for a dr thats worth a damn! Any help is greatly appreciated. Florida is terrible for medical help! Thank you so much.

In 2012 I had a spinal fusion that didn't go well. I'm partially paralyzed on my left side. I've been going to a pain management clinic & they've had me on oxycodone 10mg 4 times a day & OxyContin 10mg 3 times a day. I've never had a pill count that was off & always passed the UA. Suddenly in November I'm 8 short on my OxyContin & my results come back with hydro in my system. We were renting a room to a young woman & she moved to Texas in November btw did you ever notice how much a 10mg white hydro looks like oxycodone? Obviously I got kicked out of the program. Hey, I recently had an MRI on my back which showed about 5 bulging & messed up disks in my back, also I have early onset of R.A that runs in my family. I have been on methadone for over a year. My dr got arrested, now I'm out of my meds and I don't know what to do. I'm going through withdrawal and it sucks. My primary dr will not prescribe it. I am in so much pain, I'm starting to lose my mind. ## They never should have prescribed methadone for you. Not for pain relief. That's probably why the doc got arrested. Methadone is used to get people off opiates. But now your addicted to methadone. Get off that drug. You'll be a slave to it and can't live without it. You'll wind up in a methadone clinic. I am a severe burn victim with many health problems besides the burns, I have several disc out and disc degenerative disease, fibermolgia, disc in my neck messed up and neuropathy and the list goes on.
