I recently was going to a pain clinic for my pain medication and was discharged because I had over the counter medicine in my system. I need to find a good doctor that will write pain madicine and wont discarge you over stupid stuff like taking over the counter medicine. ## I am very sorry that this happened to you. However, did you sign a contract agreeing to such terms in order to be treated there? And what was the medication you had in your system? As to looking for a new doctor, you are going to have to stick with pain management. I have had Migraines for 40 yrs now. I've seen many, many doctors and Neurologists. I've been to pain specialists and to The Diamond Headache Clinic in Chicago. I Had a Dr. her but they no longer except my Medicaid. I also suffer from Fibromyalgia and a ruptured herniated disk. I take nothing but Tylenol now for the past two months and cant get my Migraine meds because I can't afford to go to my Dr. My Migraine med is a Narcotic but not oxy or Norco or Vicodin nothing like that. I'm very sorry this happened to you, but if you agreed to such terms in order to be treated by them, then they were well within their rights to dismiss you and most other pain management doctors will have similar policies. My husband and I recently moved here to South Carolina we have been trying to locate a good doctor to continue his roxy 30s and opana 15s. He has severe hip and leg pain due to a car accident in 2006 one in which left him in a coma for 7 days. He sustained major includes including a broken jaw which resulted in a 2in plate in his jaw as well as a 3in plate in his cheek bone. He also had a laceration to his spleen and liver, a broken leg and hip. My husband has had a Brain hemrage a broken neck and slipped disc. His Dr in Charleston Ohio was viving him oxy 15 and perck 10mg.
