Because there is really no specific time of day that it must be taken, other than before a meal. It is classified by the U.S. FDA as a proton pump inhibitor that helps reduce the amount of acid produced by your stomach to help treat or prevent conditions, such as heartburn, GERD, gastritis and ulcers. Dosage and directions for Altosec 20 ## From what I was able to gather Altosec is not from the US, I believe it's from South Africa. I did however I located the active ingredient, it's Omeprazole. They are capsules. ## I use altosec for acid reflux. Ever since i started using it i have never had reflux. It also healed my bruising i had internally. ## Quite correct, it's from South Africa, but where better to find a cure for anything abdominal where it would be an every day expected occurrence. This product is amazing, it really hones in where it is supposed to!
