The original prescription filled Hydrocodone 5 500 TAB MLKCM. imprint M357 They refilled with Hydrocodone/APAP*** (WATSON 349) and now I sometimes have blood in stool. Does the APAP have aspirin which causes internal bleeding with me, and caffeine, whcih the M357 does not seem to have that effect. What should I do? ## Neither of the tablets you mentioned contain Aspirin or Caffeine, they both contain Hydrocodone and Acetaminophen. (The Acetaminophen is what the APAP stands for.) It is not common, but it can cause stomach irritation and thin the blood, especially if you are taking 3 to 4 of these tablets a day. Learn more: Are there any other questions or comments?

Blue and white capsule imprint watson on one side 3220 on the other supposed to be 30 mg hydrocodone ## Hello, Melissa! How are you? There is no manufactured 30mg Hydrocodone available in the U.S., it is only available combined with Acetaminophen and the tablets that are available only have a maximum of 10mgs of the Hydrocodone. Other doses are available by a compounding pharmacy, if a doctor specially orders them, but they would not have an imprint such as this on the capsules. That said, the white and blue capsule with this marking contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 50mgs of Butalbital, 40mgs of Caffeine and 30mgs of Codeine, it is most commonly used to treat migraines and tension headaches. This is a combination of a narcotic anagesic containing 15 mg of dihydrocodeine, 325 mg of acetaminophen (APAP) and 50 mg of caffeine. Dyhydrocodeine is about one to two times more potent as Codeine, but it is not as potent as Hydrocodone. A typical does of 30 mg of dihydrocodeine is about equal to 45-60 mg of Codeine. Duhydrocodeine is both a Schedule II controlled substance by itself and a Schedule III controlled substance when compounded with APAP or Asprin (ASA). It is rarely used in America and for reasons unbeknown; nonetheless it's low abuse potential allows it to be sold OTC in Europe as an anagesic in strengths of 7.49 mg dihydrocodeine compounded with 500 mg of APAP. US LAW: If sold in the US this would be a Schedule III Controlled Substance It is also available by prescri...

nothing on back of pill just an E on other side white oblong found it in a bottle with hydrocodone but it looked different from others ## I can't be completely certain, but with just an imprint of an E it is most likely just an over the counter Excedrin tablet, which contains Acetaminophen, Aspirin and Caffeine. Learn more Acetaminophen details here. Learn more Aspirin details here. Learn more Caffeine details here. That is the way they marked the tablets of their original formulation. It is not a Hydrocodone tablet, there are none with that marking. do these pill make u drowser..and can i take lortab with this medication..and do these pill suppose really stop my headache..and can i go too work and take this pills... ## The tablets you're asking about contain Butalbital, Aspirin, Codeine and Caffeine. Learn more Fioricet details here. Learn more Codeine details here. Yes, since the Codeine is a narcotic opiate, it may cause drowsiness and no, they should not be combined with the Lortab, since it contains Hydrocodone, which is another narcotic and Acetaminophen. Learn more Lortab details here. And I wouldn't suggest taking them, if you have to go to work, until you see how they affect you, since they may also cause dizziness and nausea, in addition to the drowsiness. I have 2 pills that I want to take at the same time. One is the v3601 and the other is v2355. Is it harmful to mix the two? ## Hello, Shalynda! How are you? You shouldn't take both, unless your doctor has instructed you to do so. These are both made by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals and they list the one with the 3601 marking as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen. The one with the 2355 on it contains 325mgs of Acetaminophen, 50mgs of Butalbital and 40mgs of Caffeine. Thus, you could end up taking too much Acetaminophen, which risks fatal overdose toxicity, plus the Hydrocodone and Caffeine counteract each other, since the first is essentially a downer and the other a stimulant, so it could be a dangerous mix. The FSA warns that Hydrocodone with Acetaminophen carr...
