I was on lortab for 6 years. They stoppd workn and my doctor wouldn't raise or switch me to another med. Then he died. I starts getn pills off the street because I couldn't get another Dr fast. I went to local Dr and he talked me into suboxone. I stayed on that for 7 months but it wasn't helping with my pain. Great for the withdrawals though. That's been 4 years ago. I recently told I have carpal tunnel. I suffer from neck pain,knee pain.back pain and now my hands throb. It hard for me to clean my house or enjoy life. My problem is even though its beem 4 years can't find a Dr that will help. That same Dr told me he'd put me back on subs but I don't want them I need something for pain. I need to find a doc in ky that can help me with my pain. I've been going for years now and they decided to take me off my meds. The doctors want to give me shots in my back and I don't want that. I have been taking Percocet 10 for over 4 years and now they just want to give me ms contin 15 which gives me a bad headache and doesn't help my pain. I don't want a doc to overload me on meds. My mother is in her mid 60's and was getting perc 15s but she was seeing a TN doc and she lives in KY. This posed a problem because she has a medical card and has obamas well care and the doc no longer takes well care and she was Kicked out, she could pay cash but then she would lose her medical card, im just trying to find a doctor in KY that could treat her, she stays in pain due to neck spurs and deteriorating back disease. I have been seen by the lexington va for 2 years now with constant back pain. I've had shots and therapy for the pain. The only thin my PCM is giving me is tramadol which I have been on for 2 years and is just not doing anything to help. ## Due to the new regulations that have been put in place, if you're looking outside of the VA, you'll need to see a pain management specialist to possibly have anything stronger prescribed. Im from mi recently moved to corbin ky. I have chronic pain due to nerve damage. My leg and foot goes numb for sometimes weeks at a time. My back often goes out on me and i cant move and my broken tailbone makes it hard for me to sit comfortably. There have been far too many issues from doctors prescribing improperly or over prescribing medications for conditions that they aren't specially trained to handle. i have been having trouble getting a good dr who will write oxycodone 30 mg. my back has been broken before and i was going all the way to Florida (a 16 hour drive) just to get my meds.
