where can i get my procriptions filled ?? i have been on for 20 years tried everything nothing else works. had bad head injury took 7 years to get something that works not back at square one so far no luck. have scrip for propoxyphene 65 need filled!! ## I'm sorry, but if you are in the U.S. there is no way to get a prescription filled for any product that contains Propoxyphene, the FDA has been forced to have it pulled from the market and many other countries have done so, as well. Propoxyphene was found to be cardiotoxic and the effects that it had on the heart resulted in permanent injury or death, in some cases. Have you tried discussing this with your doctor, to see what else you may be able to use? Propoxyphene is actually a very mild narcotic and there are many on the market ...

Hi.. I am 8 weeks pregnant now and my doctor has prescribed Ceftas 200 and Dolo 650 tablets for treating the Urinary Tract Infection. Is it safe to take these tablets during pregnancy? Please help me... ## Ceftas (Cefixime) guidelines note that Cefixime has been assigned to pregnancy category B by the FDA. Animal studies failed to reveal evidence of fetal harm. There are no controlled data in human pregnancy. Cefixime should only be given during pregnancy when need has been clearly established. If you become pregnant, contact your doctor. You will need to discuss the benefits and risks of using Cefixime Suspension while you are pregnant. It is not known if Cefixime Suspension is found in breast milk. If you are or will be breast-feeding while you use Cefixime Suspension, check with your...

I have taken aspirin free excedrin for headaches for years,. Now that is off the market I have tried similar generic brands that do not work. I now have to take my prescription meds all the time. What can I do to help this situation????? ## Have you discussed the problem with your doctor? What prescription medications do you take? In reality, it is no better to have to take an over the counter medication, any more often than it is to take prescription medications. They all carry risks and can cause complications.

The person did mean AZ 285. It is on the pills I bought at the 99 cent store. It is supposed to be exhedrin, that is, acetaminophen, caffeine, and aspirin. ## Hi Marsy, I think you might be referring to another discussion thread.. but just to confirm, the white round pill marked "AZ 285" is in fact identified as generic Excedrin, for headache relief. It contains 250 mgs of Acetaminophen + 250 mgs of Aspirin + 65 mgs of Caffeine. Apparently the name of the manufacturer/distributor is "A2Z Health", which explains the AZ logo as well. Hope this info helps!

Is it worth doing epclusa? I'm supposed to start next week. I'm 65 yrs old, diagnosed with copd recently and have shortness of breath, always tired & afraid that treatment will make me feel worse. I'm fibroscan f1, geno 3 V L 8mg. I'm very worried. I probably got infected in the 70s and don't feel real bad from hvc yet, just normal old age feelings I think. Any advice is greatly appreciated. ## Hi Lou, Sorry to hear about the symptoms you've been experiencing. Although I've never taken Epclusa myself, I did want to share a link to other related discussion threads here on MedsChat where you may be able to get a better idea of how others have responded to treatment at: [1] rxchat.com/search/epclusa Please note that all medications carry some level of risk...

Want to find a generic medication that is similar to Hydroxyzine HCL 25 mg. It also has to be covered by Independent Health Encompass Esstential 65.Plus can you give me the cost of it? Thank You ## Hello, Florence! How are you? Hydroxyzine is a generic and is usually one of the cheapest available in the diuretic category. I am also afraid that I have no way of knowing what is and isn't covered by your insurance, nor do I have prices to quote you, since this website does not manufacture, prescribe, nor sell any medications, it is an information only site. Have you discussed the issue with your doctor and pharmacist? They would be best able to help you discover what you can take that will also be covered by your insurance.

I have found that the anacardic acids in raw cashew nuts and maybe mangoes do an excellent job of curing an abscess from gram positive bacteria, which are the most prevalent cause of tooth decay and tooth aches. It is conceivable that mango fruits may have sufficient anacardic acids as well. I wrote an article about it, and it is also discussed briefly in the 2006 edition of Medical Hypotheses, 65; 289-292. I would like to urge you to explore making these medicines available in the pure form from pharmacies. This would be especially valuable since these medicines would probably prove to be valuable against other gram positive diseases such as acne, leprosy, streptococci, Chlamydia trachomatis, and maybe even tuberculosis as well. Sincerely, Charles W.

The hyd stands for Hydrocodone, which is a narcotic, so it is only available by prescription. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you discussed the issue with your doctor? They may be able to prescribe a cheaper alternative. As to the cough, do you know what's causing it? Are you on any ...

My new doctor (I moved) is taking me off hydroxyzine pam 50 . She said it is not good for people over 65, I am 67. I itch and that was why my doctor where I lived put me on it 3 years ago. I need this medication or the itching come right back. The root of the itching is hep C and diabetis. Is there an equivalent that will work as well? ## Hi, Jan! How are you? Sorry about the problem that you're having. It isn't that Hydroxyzine can't be used in people over 65, but it does need to be carefully monitored and the dosage should be kept low, since it can be very sedating. Learn more Hydroxyzine details here. You've been on it for awhile, so any side effects wouldn't be new, but I can't control what your doctor does. However, I'd suggest discussing it with her and...

Below are two links to new recommendations for prescribing opioids for chronic and acute pain in 2016. If you take opioids for chronic pain or acute pain, you need to read them so you will be prepared for what your dr may be doing regarding prescribing opiates. At the time of this posting these Are Not Laws, they are only recommendations. But, considering how almost all drs are going by other Guidelines and Recommendations like they were laws, these shouldn't be ignored if you want to be prepared.
