## Was perscribed this drug in Nassau, Bahamas but cannot find it in USA. It is a diabetes medication. ## Yes, it contains Gliclazide and is used to treat diabetes, but helping to lower and control blood sugar. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including dizziness, headache, increased urination, diarrhea, and stomach pain. Have you consulted your GP? It is available here, as well as other equivalent medications. ## Is there a cheaper medicine than Diamicron for diabetes? My husband is taking Diamicron 2x a day and it's expensive for us. ## What does 30/7 means in Doctor's prescription??? A friend of mine is placed on DIAMICRON 30MG I daily, 30/7.

what is diffrence between diamicron 60 mr or diamicron 60xr and dose morning and evening ## There is no actual difference, both the MR and the XR just designate them as being time released formulation of the given medication. The NIH lists the typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, flatulence, and stomach pain. Is there anything else I can help with?

My doctor originally prescribed Diamicron (60m) for my Type II diabetes but, more recently, my specialist prescribed Glucephage. What are the differences please? ## Diamicron contains the active ingredient Gliclazide, so it was a different medication than the Metformin in the Glucophage. If you didn't have good control of your blood sugar levels, your specialist might have wanted to switch you to this, because many people get very good results from it. However, it may cause side effects, such as: nausea, dizziness, stomach pain and flatulence. More details: Are there any other questions?

I am 46 years male having BP and Type II Diabetes. For the last one year I am using Diamicron xr-60, Revelol AM 50/5 and Rozavel F. Since 4 days my bicep muscle is severely paining. Please suggest me what to do? ## Have you consulted your doctor? The most likely culprit among your medications is the Rozavel, which contains the active ingredient Rosuvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol. Medications in the Statin class are well known to cause these types of symptoms and, in some people, they have been so severe that they had to stop taking them. Thus, you should consult your doctor, to determine if it is causing them problem and then they can help you decide what to do accordingly. Diamicron contains the active ingredient Gliclazide, this is an oral antidiabetic medication. R...

My doctor advised me to take GLYCOMET 1gm in the evening and Diamicron MR 30 in the morning. My fasting is around 130 and PP is around 160. I am having medicine for BP also i.e SALOMAX 5/50 and TELPRES H 40. Please advice by return . ## Have the medications been helping your blood sugar levels and your blood pressure? Glycomet contains the active ingredient Metformin, which is an oral antidiabetic agent and the Diamicon-MR contains Gliclazide and, if someone's sugar levels are not well controlled by one or the other, it is normal for a doctor to combine them to help give you better control. Side effects may include: nausea, dizziness, headache and flatulence. Telpres contains the active ingredient Telmisartan, which is an ARB, used to treat high blood pressure and cardiac conditio...

I am a heart patient. My cholesterol is under controlled by taking one tab of above in the evening after food/fruits. I am also under treatment for diabetis (two tabs of 30mg Diamicron MR in the morning}. I still suffer from pins and needles in my lower legs especially when I walk or do light exercise/swim. I am also on Casprin 100mg and high blood pressure pill (Atenolol 100mg daily). Is the combined "mix" OK? ## I'm sorry, what medication did you mean by one tab of the above? You posted this under the Atenolol forums. Without knowing what medication you are talking about for cholesterol, I can't check any information on that one, for you. Casprin contains the active ingredient Aspirin, for patients with heart and blood pressure problems, it is used as a blood thinner. ...

Lately I was advised by my Doctor Galvus Met 50/1000 1 + 1, with diamicron MR 60 one and half tablet before breakfast as well as one 10point insuline dose at 10 am daily. With above medication although i had good control and my hbA1c checked last week was 7.1, but I was experiencing low sugar level often in late afternoon ( twice or thrice weakly) whenever I had much fatique of running arround. Now I have replaced my morning dose with Metformin 850 instead of Galvus met 50/1000. since then I not have low sugar problem any more, but my randum sugar comes 200 plus some times. Pl advise if this combination of medication is ok or shuld i go back to Galvusmet 50/1000 1 +1. Thanks a lot for your consideration.

I have recently started playing golf, however, I recently developed a pain on my left side and around my back just under my shoulder blade. I know that it's because of my faulty swing. I am now taking measures to correct my swing. I took cataflam and this helped a bit. But since I started Flamar - MX, I have been able to play all 18 holes. I will like to know if there are any side effects that can cause any damage to my organs. I have experienced the normal effects of stomach irritation with gripe and some extra soft stools.
