I have fibromyalgia, endo, pelvic floor dysfunction, cysts forming around my spine, 36 fibroids removed, a hystorectomy but still have my ovaries. The fibro is in my lungs and also the endo. I've been on the highest dosage of gabapentin, 6 antidepressants, Xanax, trazodone, percocet, soma, meltaxlone, lidocaine shots and patches and dialudid 4 2x a day. I am 36, no children, have had a laparoscopic surgery, laparotomy, mayomectomy and hysterectomy. First 3 in 10 months. At a dr put me on Lupron and the menopause was horrible. I've tried prescription, opiates, narcotics, homeopathic, pelvic pain pilates n yoga. NOTHING RELIEVES MY PAIN AND I DO NOT LIKE THE MENTAL EFFECTS. I take Valium 20 mg a day 1200 gabapentin a day and 8 mg of dialudid when the aleve doesn't cut it but s...

need dialudid in houston, texas ## Hello, Angus! How are you? I'm sorry, but there is no listing of doctors according to what they will or will not prescribe that I can refer to for you. If you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, then due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a pain management specialist, now. This is a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Do you currently have a PCP that you see regularly that may be able to refer you to someone? That would likely be the fastest way to find the help you need. Can anyone recommend a good doctor in that area?

I got the compound from the pharmacy but the powder only filled one end of the capsule...is this normal. What should it weigh and how do I know I'm getting the right med! ## Hello, Rnail712! How are you? Yes, that is normal. Compounded mediations don't usually contain as many fillers as the manufactured ones do. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Have you taken it, yet? Did it help your pain?

Please someone give me a pharmacy that is legally able to fill C-2s for FL. ## Any pharmacy that has them in stock can legally fill a valid and legal prescription for them. The problem in Florida is that a major distributor was recently shut down, so most pharmacies don't have any in stock and are having trouble getting more, since a new distributor hasn't taken over, yet. However, if you have been told by some that they can't legally fill yours, then there may be a problem with the prescription itself. There are limits on how many your doctor can prescribe each month. Did you happen to ask why they can't fill it? Learn more Dilaudid details here. ## I know exactly why no body wants to fill anything, anywhere, and there is no distribution problem or limit a doctor can gi...

what is the difference between the yellow dialudid and the white ones ## It depends which ones you are talking about, since the colors don't actually mean anything. However, there are some companies that make a generic version and they use different colors for their tablets, to make them easier to tell apart. Though it is the marking on the tablets that actually denote what they are and not the colors. For example: There are Hydromorphone tablets marked with an M on one side and a number designating the dosage on the other side, either a 2 or a 4, but they are both white tablets. There are also some that are blue, with an E 2 marking the 2mg and the same company has a beige one for the 4mg. There is another company that has a yellow tablet with the marking 7574 that is a 4mg tablet,...

It has a m on one side and a 4 on the other side ## The correct medication name is Dialudid, it contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, this is a potent narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can read more here: Is there anything else I can help you with?

I am a chronic pain patient and.like many of us, OUT of meds. I cannot fill my prescriptions each month. I have switched to dialudid and those don't work very well. I found an online service that would fill my script, signed up and they have been closed down before I got my 1st shipment. This is HELLISH. I HATE being on Roxi's, but its better than the alternative which is the crippling pain . Has ANYONE in the Palm Beach County area found a place to fill a prescription for Roxi's?!?!? Please help and God Bless... ## Unfortunately, it seems like most people in your area are still having as much trouble getting them, as you are. Have you tried any other alternative medications, such as Morphine? It's available in the same formulations as the Oxycodone, a time released, reg...

Sorry about the pain that you're in, that's awful! Have you tried Fentanyl? It's a very potent narcotic, over 80 times stronger than Morphine and it's available in a patch that is time released and worn for either 2 or 3 days, depending on the severity of pain. Learn more Fentanyl details here. Another alternative would be to look into getting a pain pump, which is basically an implanted device that delivers pain medications i...

They are round and orange with a scored line on one side and a zero with a diagonal line through.- Thanks.- ## It is not a legal U.S. registered tablet of Dialudid/Hydromorphone. This does not match any of the markings. Where was it obtained? Was it in the U.S.? It could be something available over the counter or even a foreign medication. I am not finding a listing that matches this, anywhere.

I was told this is Dilaudid ## Diladid has a K on one side and a 4 on the other and it is tiny and round. ## First, I would like to state that the marking mentioned by Jeff is ONLY ONE Dialudid tablet. There are NO universal markings once a drug is available for generic production. Each company that makes it must have their own imprints in order to identify the ingredients, dosage and manufacturer or each tablet, so there are MANY more Dilaudid tablets on the market that DO NOT have a K4 marking on them. Now, that clarified, YES, the tablet in question does contain 4mgs of Hydromorphone, a generic for Dilaudid, this is a very potent narcotic analgesic. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can read more here: Is there anything else I can he...

pharmacy says they are the same as 54 609 but make me feel different and can't find listing for them anywhere ,supposed to be 4mg hydromorphone. ## 54 609 contains 4mgs of Hydromorphone, a generic for Dialudid, a narcotic analgesic. I cannot find a listing for the 54 196 anywhere, either. However, if they are made by a different company, the amount of the active ingredient could vary slightly and this may explain why they make you feel different. Have you tried taking them into the pharmacy and asking them to double check the prescription for you? Common side effects of this medication may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and dizziness. You can read more on it here:

Opana is terrible both IR and ER, same with Exalgo and even the 8 mg Dilaudid stinks soo folks those of us that truly need pain relief are now screwed. ## I am very sorry to read that you are having a problem. The Exalgo and the Dialudid both contain the same active ingredient, the narcotic Hydromorphine, so if one didn't work for you, then it makes sense that the other wouldn't, either. Opana contains Oxymorphone and from the title of your post, are you saying that the new Oxycontin doesn't work, either? If that is the case, what other options have you discussed with your doctor? On possibility is Morphine, it is available in 3 formulation, instant release, time release and regular release: There is also a time released patch on the market that contains the active ingredien...

I was on 100 mg of Kadian twice a day for 7 years and got switched to 20 mg of Opana three times of day. Also, I was on 15 mg of Morphine 4 times a day and was switched to 4 mg of dialudid 4 times a day. I want to know if these dosages are equal to my old medicine dosages. ## I don't believe these are equivalent dosages, more over because Morphine is the active ingredient in Kadian. In which case you had taken 100mg twice a day (200mg/day) and later dropped down to 15mg four times a day (60mg/day). That's a pretty significant difference in and of itself, not taking into consideration the Opana or Dilaudid fixtures. As far as Opana (Oxymorphone) and Dilaudid (Hydromorphone) goes, these are two different drugs with different levels of potency/pain relief, so cross-comparing the tw...

my daughter is addicted to this drug. I need 2 know, what these pills look like. ## They are tiny, yellow, and round. ## Actually, there is NO possible way to describe ALL of them that are on the market, or post pictures of them. Dialudid is also available as a generic, Hydromorphone, once these are on the market, they are made by MANY different companies and how the tablets look is ENTIRELY up to the manufacturers, there is NO rule stating they all have to be the same size, shape or color. Crystal may have seen tiny, yellow round ones, but I have seen large, oval white ones, the size can also vary according to dose. The easiest way to do handle this is, if you find a tablet you are suspicious of, post back with the imprint and we will gladly look it up for you to check its contents. I ...

I Have had HepC for years. Been on dilaudid 8mg. for a couple years. Still in pretty bad pain. Would oxycodone 30mgs. be stronger than my Dilaudids? ## Hello, Sassie! How are you? Yes, you'd only beed 21.33mgs of Oxycodone to be equal to each 8mg Dialudid, so the 30mgs is actually a stronger dosage. The FDA classifies this medication as being a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## So, oxycodone 30 mg is stronger than Dilaudid 8 mg? My dr lied to me and said she was giving me 2mg and .5 of oral dilaudid. When I explained .5 didn't do s*** for me last night, she said she would up the doses so cold get some sleep. I was up till after 4 am crying for the last 3 weeks. ## Hello, Heather! How are you? There is no .5mg of oral Dialudid available in the U.S. The dosing starts at 2mgs. The FDA warns that this medication carries the risk of being habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache, dry mouth, and constipation. What do you feel your doctor lied about? I apologize, but I'm not understanding what you're asking. ## I usually take 8 mg dilaudid every 2-3 hours. By mistake I took two 8mg at the same time. how long does it take to be weaned off a medtronic pain pump with the med. dilaudid the pain management wants my daughter to come off it in one month is that to fast and will there be alot of side effects and withdrawal please help i'm really scared for her and they are suppose to start reducing tomorrow ## Dialudid is a potent narcotic containing the active ingredient Hydromorphone. It really depends on how high of a dosage she has been on and for how long. It should be done on a very slow taper, slowly decreasing her dosage every 5 to 7 days, until she eventually isn't using any. She will, more than likely, still experience some withdrawal effects when she finally does stop altogether, however, they should not be severe nor dangerous. Just somewhat miserable. Did they say why ...

I had surgery on Thursday and my doc perscribed me dilaudid 4mg 30 pills to be exact I have taken about 26 of them since Thursday and they haven't done anything for me do u somethings wrong?? ## It is possible that this medication just does not work for you. However, rather than continuing to take more and more of them, you should have contacted your doctor or pharmacist. Dialudid contains the active ingredient Hydromorphone, this is a very potent narcotic and taking too many creates a very real risk of a possible fatal overdose. Have you contacted your doctor, yet?
