My celebrex has been in a cool dark place dated 5/19/2004. Are they still good? ## Hello, Bill! How are you? Medications do lose effectiveness with time, even in the original factory sealed containers, most are only good for 4 to 5 years, thus it would be best to dispose of it and see your doctor, if you need a new prescription. The FDA lists the typical side effects of this medication as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache and stomach irritation. Is there anything else I can help with? ## hi. my celebrex expired aug 2015. is there a grace period? thanks

Hi . I will be going on a trip to Honduras next month. I have the travel cooler to transport it there. But the hotel in the town I'll be at doesn't have refrigerators in the rooms. I've been looking for a way to keep it cool while I'm there for 10 days. I've looked on line for small medication coolers for meds like Insulin.. I have found 2 different products, but range in price from $55-90. Has anyone had any experience using these? Or have any suggestions for something else? thanks ## Hi, Sharon! Have you tried contacting the hotel? Though they don't have refrigerators in the rooms normally, many of them do keep small ones on hand for patrons that may need them due to medical issues, such as this. Learn more Forteo details here. Does anyone know of a small travel bag for the Teriparatide pen, which will keep cool for long periods of time? I have received one, but it's very large and will not fit into my hand luggage for the plane. ## You might want to try looking for an insulated carrier for insulin, from what I recall when my ex-husband and I would travel with his, the ones he had were the size of a small men's wallet, just a little bit thicker. The FDA lists the typical side effects of Forteo as possibly including nausea, weakness, leg cramps, depression, and back spasms. my son is 11 yrs old started taken Nasonex when he was 9 yrs old and is now having eye probs!! not cool drugs should not be FDA aproved if they havenT BEEN STUDY long enough to really know if it cause other probs !! and now my son is a victum of this drug it needs to come off the market !! ## Nasonex, which is used to treat allergic rhinitis and other problems that cause nasal swelling, contains the active ingredient Mometasone, which is a steroid class medication. The only reported side effect that affects the eyes for people using this had been Conjunctivitis, also referred to as Pink Eye. Has his doctor definitively tied his vision problem to the use of the medication? Long-term use of some steroid class medications, has been linked to serious conditions of the eye, such as Glaucoma ...

someone please tell me the shelf life of sulfamethoxazole when being stored in a cool place. I've had this since 10/2013 it's now 2016 Can I take this now????? ## Hello, Pamela! How are you? If it is in bottle as dispensed by your pharmacy, it has an expiration date of one year, from the date you received it, because those bottles expose it to the elements that cause degradation. If it is in the original factory sealed bottle, then it is good for approximately 4 years, from the date you received it. If it is expired, it loses efficacy and could cause you to develop antibiotic resistant bacteria, so you should dispose of it and see your doctor for a new prescription, if an antibiotic is required. The FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, head...

Is the pink oxycodone 10mg tab imprint K 56 time released or instant release? ## Hi coolhandbart, How are you? From what I could gather, the round pink oxycodone marked "K 56" is a 10mg INSTANT RELEASE tablet, manufactured by KVK Tech. I've actually seen a few people on here leave terrible complaints about this particular manufacturer not working as well as others, so I'd be curious to know if you've experienced a similar reaction in comparison to any other brands or generics you may have taken? Hope this helps! ## They are absolutely terrible ! I myself have somewhat studied them after receiving them now for the 2nd. month at Walgreens . For a few years I had been receiving Activis Brand and they worked quite well for me. Today when I recieved them for the 2nd. mont...

How long can you use tigan after the expiration date? The inj. version of tigan? We keep it in a dark cool place and have a brand new bottle and it's that time of year for the stomach virus. ## Hello, Lou! How are you? There isn't necessarily any time of year for stomach viruses, there are several that one could catch and they can occur any time of year. I got a very nasty one back in October and was miserable. The best preventative is washing your hands regularly to help prevent transmission to yourself and others. As to the expired medication, it would be best to dispose of it and obtain a new supply, if you need it. Liquid medications tend to degrade much faster than other forms and they can actually go bad and may make you ill, if you use them. The FDA lists its typical side...

What is the shelf life of Celebrex capsule 200mg. The date on mine is 5/2/09. They have been kept in the original pharmacy container in a cool dark cabinet. Are they still effective? ## When regular prescription tablets and capsules are dispensed, they are required to have a one year shelf life, from the time you get your prescription filled. That means that yours actually expired on 05/02/10. This doesn't mean that they are dangerous to use, but after that date, they can start to lose potency and not be as effective. Have you spoken to your doctor? It may be advisable to just get a new prescription, if you still need to use this medication. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, stomach irritation and headache. ## Taking pills that are expired is not dangerous. They m...

Received green capsules suppose to be 50 mg tramadol, outer foil pack says sandoz out of Mumbai India . Anyone know about these ? ## Yeah, it's cool. I take them. No worries. ## Sandoz appears to have some sort of presence in Mumbai, India, but I can't seem to find any specific details on that location or their legitimacy. The international headquarters is based in Germany according to their website (Sandoz.com). However, they also have a more local spot in Princeton, New Jersey. All I'm saying is that you might want a second or third confirmation from one of the deemed 'official' locations before going off one anonymous review saying "it's cool, no worries". @james, This is not to discredit you, but if you're going to be vague about your description,...

I want to now ive I use epitec do I have to eat something in the morning before I drink my epitec and do I have to drink it with water or can I drink it with cooldrink as well? ## Epitec (lamotrigine) comes as a tablet, an extended-release (long acting) tablet, an orally disintegrating tablet (dissolves in the mouth and can be swallowed without water), and a chewable dispersible (can be chewed or dissolved in liquid) tablet to take by mouth with or without food.
