I was referred by one of my professors/mentors that alprozalom might be a good medication for me due to my lonelyness in social gatherings partly because i grew up in schools where i was sort of the odd-ball out. I was always shy snd never talked to girls possibly since i came from a broken family and was forced to grow up quicky. I come from a war-torn country where I have had my grandmother pass away as well as several other relatives. I have fewer fears and anxiety when walking alone, and I'm constantly reminiscent of my days as a kid when my family was together. I have no felonies and serious crimes against me. I am a student at Northeastern Illinois University, and I reside on the far North/northwest side of Chicago. I am a senior at my school and I hope to graduate by May with...

I have documentation that I was on these meds before. I was on 30mg oxycodone 3x daily, 10mg hydrocodone 4x daily, 30mg adderall twice daily, and 2mg Xanax 4x daily. My doctor was just getting too expensive, does anyone know any doctor around the chicago area that is easy going when it comes to prescribing meds? Thanks so much I just don't want to see a doctor and just walk out with ibuprofen for example. Thanks ## Hello, Mike! How are you? There are no doctors that are easy going about prescribing such medications, anymore. New regulations were put in place last year, which they must abide by, or they risk losing their license to practice medicine. If you require these medications on a long-term ongoing basis for the treatment of chronic pain, you'll need to see specialists to ...

Trying to taper off xanax or get some in Chicago area. Any help? What doc will help me? ## From what I could gather, Dr. Zabrin Inan is a psychiatrist in Chicago, IL who seems to have a track record that many online reviewers describe as someone who is "pill happy". The phone number to her office is 773-752-6000. I would think someone like this should be able to prescribe you a comfortable amount to taper off with over several weeks time. None the less, if you suffer from anxiety and need a Benzodiazepine class medication (like Xanax), usually your best bet is to see a psychiatrist, rather than a regular medical doctor. Reason being is that they are better trained in the types of medications that handle these problems and many general physicians are reluctant to prescribe contro...

I was seeing a Psychiatrist in Chicago for 15 years who was giving me 3 1mg.of Alprazolam per day till I moved here to Clinton ,Tn. & now I just don`t know where to look I did go to 1 Psychiatrist but I spent 31/2 hours to see him just for him not to hear my story or to help . ## Hello, Christopher! How are you? I'm sorry about the problem that you're having. Do you have a PCP in your new location, yet? If so, having them refer you to someone might be the quickest and easiest way to find the help you need. The FDA classifies Xanax as being a benzodiazepine that is most commonly used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. It carries the risk of being habit forming and could cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, headache and irritability. Can anyone recommend a good ...

please let me know if you know any psychiatrist or doctors in the Chicagoland area that is lacks about prescribing XANAX! ## You mean lax? I know of a great Hamburger place if that helps? ## Really not funny at all! ## Hello, Krissy! How are you? No doctor can be lax about prescribing them, anymore. If they prescribe them improperly, they risk losing their license to practice medication, as well as fines and jail time. Additionally, if you require such a medication on a long-term ongoing basis, due to the new regulations that were put in place last year, you'll need to see a specialist, now. Do you currently have a PCP that could refer you to someone? Can anyone suggest a good doctor in that area? This medication is a benzodiazepine that's most commonly used to treat anxiety and...

I recently relocated to San Francisco from Chicago and am seeking a doctor who will prescribe the same medications as my previous doctor. I need a doctor who will prescribe Hydrocodone, Xanax and Adderall which I have been taking for a few years. ## You will need a copy of your medical records from your previous drs before another dr will treat you for these conditions. Although there are no guarantees that another dr will treat you with the same medications thar your previous did. With you being a new patient, you won't find a dr that will prescribe you these meds until they have seen you for at least several months, if then. You will need to see a psychiatrist for the Xanax and Adderall. Depending on how much of the hydrocodone that you're taking, you may need a Pain Managemen...
