I live in Bangalore. I have been suffering from chronic pharyngitis and laringitise. So far I have take five courses of antibiotics no results. Doctor says this could be due to certain allergy. However, the medicine for allergy also had very little effect. I am not sure on the further course of action. I would welcome your suggestions on this. Hi. I am 11 weeks pregnant, suffering from a fever of 102C, cold, cough and mild throat pain since Saturday morning. My husband was suffering with the same symptoms including a headache since last week. He got infected from his office colleague. I consulted my gynecologist on Saturday evening, she prescribed calpol 500mg 3 times a day for 5 days and cepodem 200mg 2 times a day for 5 days. I have read in few blogs that cepodem causes birth defects to an unborn baby and is harmful. I am so worried now.
