Some pharmacy will not give the watson brand soma or norco if you using insurance can something be done and do target carry name brand. ## No, you get what that pharmacy gets. You can request the Brand name drug and expect to pay up to 100 X more if that is what you are asking, yet insurance wont cover it. Also the pharmacy and the prescriber will catch on that you have vast knowledge of different brands and most likely not do business with you, or cut you off. You are playing with fire. If you have the time, open the phone book and call all the Pharmacies in a 100 mile radius and perhaps you will find the brand you seek!

Drug addiction is widely considered a pathological state. The disorder of addiction involves the progression of acute drug use to the development of drug-seeking behavior, the vulnerability to relapse, and the decreased, slowed ability to respond to naturally rewarding stimuli. The Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders, Fourth Edition (DSM-IV) has categorized three stages of addiction: preoccupation/anticipation, binge/intoxication, and withdrawal/negative affect. These stages are characterized, respectively, everywhere by constant cravings and preoccupation with obtaining the substance; using more of the substance than necessary to experience the intoxicating effects; and experiencing tolerance, withdrawal symptoms, and decreased motivation for normal life activities. I'm trying to figure out what a med was called that I took I was a yellow gel cap with a purple ring Arround it and it ended in pam ## Hi Chuck, Do you have any idea what "type" of medication it was? What it was prescribed or used for? A lot of drug names come to mind that end in 'pam', specifically benzodiazepines/anti-anxiety meds such as diazepam, lorazepam, clonazepam, and temazepam. So this is what I tend to think of right off the bat. However I'm not particularly aware of how each tablet or capsule is being supplied and their specific color schemes for certain dosages. Never-the-less, it seems to me that the drug category of benzodiazepines is most common when it comes to meds that end in 'pam'. So you may just need to double check on that with a ph...

I am teaching a medication administration course and need a list of schedule G drugs and rthe reason they would be listed as such ## I cannot find a complete list, most of my information is for the U.S. and they do not use the same schedule for drugs. However, the schedule G drugs are those that are available strictly by prescription. This is due to the possibility of side effects and the health dangers they may present if used improperly. Some that are included in this category are amphetamines and barbituates. What country are you in? That may help me find you the proper information. ## Thanks for the reply, We are in Canada and I do realize that these are a restricted drug but I am not sure if they are narcotics or if they are special drugs that are being used almost experimentally o...

It depends on both his weight and the severity of the infection. The dosing ranges from 5 to 12mg per pound of body weight, two or three times a day. Have you tried asking your veterinarian?
