BP remainsinthe range of 160/100 - 180/115 despite taking medicines like metoprolol100, metolar100, dilgem90, telma40, olsar, cardace, prazopress, minipress, starpress, amcard, atenolol, atrova, lacilactone, me12, dizide, alprax.25, colsprine100 etc.etc on various intervals but with no effect.even the ecg,tmt,echo,angiography could suggest nothing ## my husband is advice to take TAB CARDACE 2.25 AFTER BREAKFAST. Iam Kashmiri and used to salt tea, which is having salt and sodium carbonate together.I am suffering high blood pressure.To control it was prescribed Cardace 5.However it could not control pressure. Then with it was prescribed Prolomet XL 25,both are known drugs to have same effect on blood pressure.Now I am confused whether I should take only one or both together. ## I'm 31 years old. I am from bijbehara kashmir. I'm taking cardace 1.25 dally (one tablet), but I go to the bathroom 3 or 4 times. Now I'm ok and so is my blood pressure. Now I want to stop taking it. plz help me.

My mother is 54 years she is diabetic since 20yrs & she was done by pass surgery 8years back .she is insulin patient &she was prescribed cardace2.5 after surgery. She was continuing till now but some days back her cardiac dr. Said to stop cardace but her diabetologist said to continue .so now she is taking cardace1.25 daily once after breakfast.but now she has severe eye pain so ophthalmologist said its becoz of high blood pressure. But her BP is normal. Now can u pls advise me what she shoul do whether to continue cardace 1.25 or 2.5 or can she skip that medicine now. Pls advice.

After angoeoplsty i had bp around 120/75 for 2 mnths but dr when reduced Met Xl 25 to 12.5 my bp went up to 146/85 n heart rate frm low 50s to 85 90 now 2nd Dr gave me metxl 50 cardace (ramipril )2.5 eptus 25 after bfa st ecospurin 75 (reduced after 5 months rm 150) prax 10 after lunch Attorva 40 (increased from 20)cardac2 2.5 after dinner) my question ll this continue now BP 130/77 n heart rate between 62 to 70. My worry is this effect of reduction me to prolog and not having Eptus25 and ramiprill2.5?

I had a heart attack in 1996 and 2 stents were placed in RCA. Recently, after a routine checkup a medicated stent was placed in LAD on 10/5/2011 and among other medicines(Rantac 150, Prasita 10, Cardace H5, Metolar XR 25, Atorlip 10, Ecosprin 150) I was prescribed Nicorandil/Nicoduce 5 which used to give me a severe general headache. It has now been substituted by Angispan TR 2.6 mg to be taken at 10AM and 4PM. This medicine also gives me such a sever headache which mimics cluster headache sysmptoms and left temple area throbs and hurts like hell. The medicine could be purchased only in 2.5mg variety as chemist says it comes with that strength only. The pain is unbearable. What should be done to resolve this? Can I stop this? Sir,On 12 Aug 2014,I suffered from ischemic heart disease with diastolic dysfunction and mild LVH. LVEF was 35%approx. I underwent PTCA to LAD,one blockage90%, on 16 Aug 2014. My father is a 78 year old CAD patient for the last 10 years. He also became a diabetic last year. Last week he was diagnosed as having TB as well. A couple of days ago, he could not urinate. Prostrate was found to be moderately enlarged earlier. Now he is on catheter for the last 2 days.
