Can You To Clonazepam With Cymbalta

Severe depression taking 4 mg of clonazepam with 60 mg of Cymbalta. Also, having had 5 spinal fusions (4 posterior, one anterior), taking 3 to 4 hydrocodone 500 7500 per day. I get very depressed and suicidal. Is this a bad combination? ## It sounds like it's a bad combination for you! Have you discussed it with your doctor? Cymbalta contains the active ingredient Duloxetine, it's an SNRI antidepressant and the Clonazepam is a Benzodiazepine and both of them can backfire, in some people, and have the opposite effect of what they are supposed to do. On top of that, you're adding the narcotic Hydrocodone, which can definitely have depressant effects.

I take a list of several medications and need help with the cost of several. Even though I have Cobra insurance because of plant closing, I will soon be loosing that. I now are relying on my unemployment and what little money my wife makes to pay for our medications. My wife has R.A. so our money goes mostly towards our medications. I've been on Xanax, Lorazepam, Clonazepam, and others but I build up a tolerance if I only take it about twice a month. I don't abuse my meds. I have bad generalized and social anxiety disorder and need something for panic attacks when my Cymbalta isn't enough. What RX for bad panic attacks resists a fast tolerance better than most? ## If you only take this medicine twice in any given month its hard to have a quick tolerance to it? What happens, can you not tolerate them or they don't work for you. Perhaps you need to be treated with a different class of medicine? ## They stop working for me. It may sedate me somewhat still, but it no longer helps the anxiety. ## Could the Cymbalta be interfering with the anti anxiety medicines? Most medicine does take time to start work...

Let me begin by stating that if I had fully understood how horrible it would be to stop taking the various SSRI, SNRI and benzodiazepines that I have been prescribed over the years, I don't think I would have started taking them in the first place, or perhaps I would have done things differently. I certainly knew there were risks involved, however, I avoided doing a ton of internet research, as this can cause unnecessary doubt and instead, I put my trust in my healthcare providers. It seems that the small percentage of people who do not experience withdrawal from these drugs (Effexor, Clonazepam, Cymbalta) gives some doctors enough confidence to put patients on these medications without fully explaining the probable consequences. Taking viibryd and remeron. The remeron is at night though to help with sleep.....not working as of yet. Waking up in the middle of the night soaking wet in sweat. Viibryd is 20mg in the morning. My pharmacy told me that they can't buy mylan any more and they do not know if it is discontinued or not. Since Qualitest lorazepam was discontinued, Mylan is the only lorazepam that works (less effective than Qualitest) but works with less side effects than others (Watson, leading pharma, actavis: don't work causing serious side effects). Any alternatives, or another generic lorazepam that works ok? Lorazepam is the only sedative that works for me for anxiety and stiffness due to side effects of levothyroxine. I will be going to Mexico for a while and am currently on Clonazepam 2mg four times a day as well as Cymbalta 90mg. Is there a specific physiatrist I have to see for my medication? I will be in Guadalajara. Thank you.

Many years on and off I have tested positive for benzos and am labeled forever a drug addict even though anything I've taken has always been prescribed, clonidine, seroquel, olanzapine cymbalta, trazodone, and norcos are all I've ever taken and just recently clonazepam which does not show up in tests. A friend of mine had been clean and sober for six years recently failed a drug test for benzos and all he had taken is clonidine. I don't drink or do drugs. Norcos, benadryl and clonazepam are all I've taken in 3 years and the benzos are not showing up now. Could anyone else have had this happen? With this drug only during the times I've taken it I came up positive. I tossed the drug.
