I have tried 5 different Blood Pressure Medications. All are giving me side effects of depression, loss of energy, trouble concentrating, joint pain, swelling, weight gain. Why would my doctor prescribe gabapentin when my blood pressure is difficult to control? It's 100/150 at times. I was complaining to my Dr that my hands are becoming difficult to control; I drop & throw things. I have been taking coverall 2mg for about 1 year now. I have blurred vision, awful leg pain, and have developed a cough with mucus running down the back of my throat. My drug store has switched my thyroid manufacturer from Mylan to Lanne. Since taking the same dosage of 88 mcg, my blood pressure has gone up considerably and I don't normally have high blood pressure. I switched from Synthroid to Tirosint. I have gained 8 lbs, constipated, hair loss and HBP. I expressed to my physician that I am experiencing weight gain with Losartan, however she doesn't believe me. I was originally taking Lisinopril but experienced tremendous hair loss. I weigh myself twice weekly, my scale tells me I have gained 4 pounds over a short period. I have been on Metformin 750 for over a year. My concern is this rapid gain.
