does drug have anything to do with breaking out ## I have always had ezcema, but have always been able to control in, recently i had a skin reaction to my face only which left me with horrible case of blotched and raised red lesions,and very itchy, didn't know what happen, I have never had this before so in freaked me out.....went to hospital emergency dept and was given IV fluid of steroid 200mg, was then prescribed a dose of 25mgx5 tablets first day then decreasing dosage over a 7 day period, it worked great , however 2 days after finishing tablets my face just felt like it was on fire and very red. I have been on morphine 60mg extended relief, 3x A day for about 10 years, I have recently noticed that it quit working as well as it did in the beginning so my doctor is going to switch me to oxycoton 30 mg extended relief am I going to go through withdraws because he is only giving me 30mg versus 60mg? I'm taking Dilaudid 4mg four times a day, and was prescribed Nucynta 50mg twice a day for breakthrough pain since Darvon was taken off the market. I'm not getting any relief from the Nucynta. Could you recommend anything else for the breakthrough pain that isn't an NSAID, which I cannot take due to liver disease? I was just started on 5 milligram Methadone, and I'm already on 30 mg oxycodone three times a day, after losing my leg. But I just received my refill and there's a deep score in the pills. I was told this is a 12-hour pill. So my question is whether this is the wrong pill because I thought that any 12-hour extended bill would not be scored and able to be broken or I would overdose or get too much at once? I used to take Low-Ogestrel as my birth control but then switched to the Brazilian equivalent of Femodene (it is called Diminut there but the hormone levels are the same as that of Femodene). I had no problems with my first pack, but towards the end of my second pack I started to experience breakthrough bleeding. It was light at first, but now I am almost halfway through my third pack and the bleeding is daily, continuous, and heavy. It is not a red flow but very dark and viscous. I'm taking losartan 100mg and atorvastatin 80 mg. I also take 45 units of Humalog, 80 units of Levemir, 500 mg metformin, carvedilol once a day, bumetanide and amlodipine 10 mg. I took all this for a long time. I started breaking out with about 200 hives all over my legs and side of my body. Can you please tell me what it could be? I had to quit taking all my medication except my sugar shot and I started adding one pill at a time. Hi - I have had Moderate to Severe plague psoriasis for 45 yrs and only for the past 2.5 yrs did I get diagnoised with Psoriatic Arthritis and have been on Cosentyx for 6 months to battle both the skin and the Psoriatic Arthritis and sadly I'm starting to have break through psoriasis and hasn't really touched my psoriatic arthritis. I CAN'T SWALLOW PILLS AND WAS WONDERING IF YOU CAN BREAK OPEN A LIQUICAP AND GET THE MEDICINE OUT. ## It should be safe to do with these, since they aren't time released, unless your doctor specifically instructs you otherwise. However, with the Ibuprofen and other ingredients, it is likely to cause some irritation to your mouth, esophagus and stomach, plus taste terrible. Vick's products, however, are listed as containing Acetaminophen, not Ibuprofen, though the same information still applies. Have you discussed it with your doctor?

I took my first and only capsule of amrix 3 days ago and I still feel drowsy. I would like to continue with a smaller dose, like 5 mg. My Amrix is time released and a capsule contains many white beads. Can I simply divide the capsule and take a portion at a time? ## No, it is not safe to try and do that with any time released medication. What dosage are you taking? You doctor should be able to prescribe a lower one for you. The U.S. FDA lists its other typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, dry mouth, and headache. ## I don't think there is a lower dosage amrix than 15 mg.

Does anybody take invokana and break the pills? I know they are not time released but i dont know if its safe to break them. I have dysphagia and cant swallow. thanks ## Looking at images of the pill, I'd presume that the ingredients are evenly distributed throughout the tablet's composition. So since it's not time-released my personal opinion is that it should be fine to divide it into smaller pieces. My reasoning is that this is what would begin to happen naturally anyways as the tablet is metabolized. Time-released meds are different in that regard, but I have no reason to believe that breaking apart an IR drug in such a manner would cause any issues; other than each piece perhaps not being absorbed at the same due to taking it with food - and in this scenario may affect ...

Hi, first time I was prescribed a round pill identified as v4839 Percocet 5mg. Now I have v4829 .. Saying its 325.10mg. I need to know if I can break it in half. 10 mg is to strong. Also my pills are white and the picture coming up on the website is yellow.. I always double check my scripts to make sure it's correct . Do you know why the internet shows yellow and why mine is white? ## These tablets are a light yellow. That probably explains why it appears to be white to you. Sometimes going outside and looking at it in the sunllight can help you see the light yellow. 4829 v is 10 mg oxycodone and 325 mg Acetaminophen. This is generic for Percocet 10/325. It is manufactured by Qualitest Pharmaceuticals. You can cut it in half because it is immediate release.

I had my foot impaled by a forklift blade in 2007. I almost lost my foot. Four surgeries including nerve and skin grafting from multiple graft sites. My dr to this day has me on a 5mg oxy dosage and will not budge. Yet I know someone who gets 225 oxychodone 30 mg every two weeks for a VERY trumped up injury. This is Bs. Sorry just venting. Cold as hell in Maine. ## No problem, venting is freely allowed, we get many posts of such a nature. There are many people who get such prescriptions for invalid reasons and it is very unfair to those that actually need them.
