Is it safe to take paracetamol as well for breakthrough pain ? ## You should ask your doctor, or pharmacist to be certain, but unless they instruct you otherwise, there shouldn't be a problem. There is even a formulation on the market in most countries that couples the Tramadol with the Paracetamol, for better pain control. In the U.S. it is sold under the brand name Ultracet. I’m already maxed out on maximum Ibuprofen at 1600 mg a day spread out 4xs a day and a (really low dose of Gabapentin 200 mg 3xs a day) for forearm pain.
