B vitamins are a class of water-soluble vitamins that play important roles in cell metabolism and synthesis of red blood cells.[1] Though these vitamins share similar names (B1, B2, B3, etc.), they are chemically distinct compounds that often coexist in the same foods.[1] In general, dietary supplements containing all eight are referred to as a vitamin B complex. Individual B vitamin supplements are referred to by the specific number or name of each vitamin, su...

IS B 1 6 12 CAN IMPROVE THE GROWTH OF A PERSON? OR IT CAN HELP THE PERSON TO GROW MORE? ## DOES B1 6 12 CAN HELP ME TO GROW MORE? I AM ALREADY 18 YEARS OLD, ## If you are already 18, then it is doubtful that anything is going to help you grow more, because you have probably already reached the end of your growth cycle. If someone is younger and still in their growth cycle and they are growing slowly due to a lack of the vital nutrients that this contains, it may help slightly. However, some people are just not naturally meant to be tall, or big and this may be something that you just have to live with. Are there any other questions?

My prescription container has two difference colors ( red & light pink, tablets, and no markings, How am I suppose to Know what a Vitamin B12 looks like? It could be a Vitamin C pill? How do you tell the Difference ?Teddy ## There really is no way to tell the difference between most vitamin pills, as the way a pill looks is entirely up to the whit and whim of the company making it, so there could be many, many pills on the market that could meet that physical description. Did you order these Vitamins from a reputable company here in the U.S.? I wouldn't mind recommending a few highly reputable brand names for B12 or vitamins in general if you need any assistance with that. I hope this helps! ## My prescription for B-12 is a round pink pill with no markings as well. They were by ...

Is it safe to take vitamin B. I am diabetic, hypertensive and already have kidney problems. I feel tingling sensations in my toes, below my ears and the scar from my bypass operation. ## Hi, Jaycee! Sorry about the health problems you're having. However, with a complicated medical history, as well as the fact that I'm sure you're taking other medications, I can only tell you that it's best to check with your doctor, before taking anything else. What medications are you on? I realize that these are just vitamins, but there are some medications they may be contraindicated with and they may cause some complications with some medical issues. Are there any other questions or concerns? ## Low, it is true that b1,6,12 also vitamins for growth?

Im pregnant,i ask my OB to give me a medicine for my nausea coz i throw up a lot . she gave me that viatmin b1,6,12. but i saw it on TV its for muscle pain im i right? ## It can be given for muscle/nerve pain, if it is caused or affected by a deficiency in these nutrients, but since it is just a multivitamin supplement, it can also be given for other conditions and they are usually given during pregnancy to ensure that you are getting enough of these vital nutrients to support both you and the baby. These will not really help with your nausea, they will just prevent your nausea causing you to develop a deficiency in these vital nutrients, since the proper amounts of them are very important to both you and your baby. I currently have 50mcg tablets and I am trying to take 200mg. How many would I have to take? ## Hello, Anthony! How are you? Are you sure it's safe for you to take that much? That would be a very high dosage of B12 and too much of it can be very dangerous. Have you been shown to be low in via lab work? How much have you been instructed to take? ## Hi Anthony, I am a big proponent of Vitamin B12 at high doses, but even I don't recommend taking 200 mg per day. It's perfectly safe to take up to 5 or 10 mg per day, but to do so, you'd be better off buying capsules that contain 5 mg per tablet, because if you are trying to get those doses taking 50 mcg tablets, you'd be taking almost a whole bottle at a time! You can see my page on Vitamin B12 Dosage here.
