According to Dischem in PE, pax 10 is not manufactured anymore. Is this true? Can i still get this at other pharmacies? ## I would really like to know the same thing. Can't get Pax 10 in Pretoria. Is there a problem with the tablets. Why can't we get it.

Domperidone(dom-PER-i-done) is a medicine that increases the movements or contractions of the stomach and bowel. Can't find a pharmacy in my area of California that can order opana ir 10mg by Roxanne. They tell me they are unavailable. Does anyone know why? ## The pharmacy is lying to you. Yes they do this more frequently than people realize. I am on the exact same medication (generic Opana IR 10mg by Roxane), and fill it monthly. They are available. There is no shortage. Your pharmacy is chosing not to fill it for any number of reasons. (For example They may have reached their alloted amount, or they suspect abuse, or they dont want to pay the exact amount for Roxane as the Teva 10mg are cheaper, or etc etc etc). My local dispensers tell me 100 mg tablets are no longer available from any manufacturer, even though the 300 mg tablets are still available. I have been taking darvocet for 10 yrs and have never had a side effect. This is the only pain reliever that I can take because of my ulcers and diverticulitis. I also take this for my arthritis. Hi, Desoxyn is not discontinued! Or I just got ripped off by my drug store today! 3/13/2006. Only is available in 5mg. doses. For ADD / ADHD or Narcolepsy. Also for obesity but I never heard of any one getting it for that. I am 180 lbs. Dosage that works best for me Is 25 mg. 2 X Day. Some will tell you to use more. I think much more is bordering on abuse, instead of therapy. I have ADD & Narcolepsy! ## No it's not discontinued it's made by Ovation Pharmeceuticals. I think the name just changed but you can locate it under that. Good luck getting it. I have the severest case of ADHD ever documented in Washington State and none of the stimulants work half as good as Desoxyn and I can't get it. I could if I wanted to pay the $1000+ for it myself. I have just started this along with my usual rx for metformin 500 and the Dr. also started me on Byetta 10, I am having severe bloating and gas and it all smells like chemicals . can anyone tell me if this is normal? I have been nauseated also. Today is my 4th day of these new rx's. ## It is hard to say for sure, drugs will act differently for different people, most side effects though, do wear off after a few weeks of use, after your body adjusts to the new medication. You just started a few days ago, so you sould probably give it more time and see if it starts to taper off. If they get worse, or are particularly bothersome, then please speak to your doctor.
