Arizona Pain Med

I can't find a decent pain doctor in Mesa Arizona. I get prescribed 100 15mg oxycodones a month, but am just dying because they only give me 3 doses a day and 100 doesn't do it for me. I need at least 122-130. If anyone could help me out here with a doctor that would help me with that I would really appreciate it. I'm tired of being sad and in pain. I can't do nothing. My life really sucks. Thank you. ## Have you tried speaking to a doctor about raising the dosage, rather than trying to get them to prescribe more? There are higher doses available. the doctor i was going to had his license revoked so does anyone know of a good pain management doctor i could go to that will prescribe me my 30 mg oxycodone ## Do you happen to know why his license was revoked? There has to be some serious reason for that to have occurred and, depending on the reason(s), it could create some problems for you in pursuing treatment. For example, if they felt that the doctor was over prescribing, or prescribing controlled substances inappropriately, you may find yourself needing to undergo a lot of medical reviews from one or more other doctors, before someone will prescribe anything for you. Does anyone know of a doctor in the area that he can try?

After moving from las Vegas to Arizona pain doctors refusing to prescribe pain medicine. I use a motorized wheelchair have osteoarthritis , spondolishesis and have recently broken my rib and damaged my wrist and aggravated a rotary cuff tear. I was on methodone and oxycodone for breakthrough pain in las Vegas as well as physical therapy that helped me function. Now I am writhing in agony with no pain killers and no relief in sight. I want to die because I cannot even sleep due to the excruciating pain. I am allergic to uv rays and cannot go outside during the day without ensuing painful blindness. I have been going to a Dr. for pain medication I have had several surgeries, I have Disc Disease, list goes on. He had me on oxycontin 80 mg and oxycodone 30mg. Over the course of the years I was put on a very large quantity. Every dr. I call tells me to go to detox. Are there any Doctor's in AZ (preferably in Mesa, Gilbert, Chandler, Scottsdale, or Tempe area) that will prescribe pain medications for fibromyalgia and lower back pain? The strongest medicine that I can get is Norco 10/325 x 2 a day but that doesn't cut it.

I'm 55 and have chronic back and neck pain. I'm also worn out dealing with these state/gov doctors who feel they have to re-invent the wheel where my pain relief is concerned. First off, I took the prescribed dose and it literally did nothing. I do suffer from muscle spasms and it didn't even help that. But the crazy thing is I'm on Valium and was asking my doctor to switch back to xanax since I was previously on that and the Valium just isn't working anymore. He then writes me for Zanaflex instead! I need a new doctor in the Phoenix area... I can't deal with this constant trial and error of meds paying out of pocket for crap medications when I know what works best for me. I am a T7 paraplegic with severe spasticity and chronic pain due to a bullet in my spine. As of February I have been looking for a Dr that is compassionate and will take me on as a patient. I have been taking a 100mcg/hr fentanyl patch every 72 hours along with 30mg of oxycodone every 6 hours for the last 9 years. I am currently taking 30mg oxycodone 4x daily. I have failed back surg syndrome and many other herniated discs in most levels of entire spine. The recent CDC crackdown is effecting the way docs in Arizona write for opiods here. No one wants to write for immediate release oxycodone (from what I've heard, it's due to people overdosing, selling them, and abusing them). Hello. Even before Tramadol became a controlled substance I have found doctors are more reluctant to prescribe it and if they do are doling it out as if they were prescribing H. I know it is not for everyone, but it is my pain drug of choice and I've used it responsibly for years. I live in the East Valley region of Metro Phoenix in Arizona and I am looking for a decent doctor who won't be a hassle in terms of prescribing this medication or calling in refills to the pharmacy in between visits. My previous doctor is no longer practicing and I have been a CPP for more than 20 years. For the last 7, I was prescribed 2-80 mg Oxycontin ER twice a day and 30 mg oxycodone every 6 hours for breakthrough pain.
