Is 20 mg oxycodone time release or not and how can I tell ## If you're prescribed it, there will be an ER on the bottle, what color is the pill and are there any #'s on it? ## The only time released Oxycodone available in the U.S. is the brand name Oxycontin, which has either an OC or an OP on the tablet and would have a 20 on the other and is pink. If that is not what you have, then you have a regular release formulation that is a generic for Roxicodone. Here's a link to learn more Oxycodone details for anyone that may need it. There is also an instant release, but it is only available in 5mg capsules. What are the markings on the tablet you're asking about?

The only legal time released formulation of Oxycodone on the current U.S. market is Oxycontin and the 20mg tablet of the new formulation has the marking OP 20 and the original had the marking OC 20, they should be round and light pink in color. please tell me if my small white pill with 10 on one side and 00 on the other is the same as percocet. it is said to be oxycodone ## I elieve that what you are looking at is a marking of OC 10 and that is one of the original Oxycontin 10mg tablets, which have now been discontinued and replaced with the ones marked OP 10. It is not the same as Percocet, because it does not contain the Acetaminophen. This tablet only contains 10mgs of Oxycodone in a time released formulation. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dizziness and constipation. Read more: Are there any questions or comments?

I am knowledgeable about all the different brands of Oxycodone. I broke my neck in a car accident in October 2009 and been going back and forth to pain management doctors. ## Are you referring to brands, formulations or manufacturers? There are 3 brand name for Oxycodone, by itself, on the U.S. market and each represents a different formulation. There is Oxycontin, which is a 12-hour time released formulation, Roxicodone, which is a regular release formulation and OxyIR, which is an instant release formulation. Of those, the Roxicodone and OxyIR are both available as generics and those are made by many different manufacturers. Then, there are the combinations that are available. Percocet is a regular release formuation that contains Oxycodone and Acetaminophen, it is also available as a...

The old formulation of Opana (octagonal) was far superior than oxycodone in relieving severe chronic pain. Opana is a time released medication that is extremely potent Because of people who abused it, several people died due to overdose. The FDA mandated that Opana be reformulated to deter abuse. The new Opana is, at least for me, totally ineffective although the extremely high cost remained. As of June 2013, there is a generic available although it is still outragesly expensive. ## And once again, what is relevant to you is not necessarily applicable to everyone else. While Opana may have worked better for you than Oxycodone, there are other people who didn't have good luck with it and got much better results from Oxycodone. Learn more Opana details here. OK guys, gals, ladies, and, gentlemen. I have been taking Flomax, starting in 1996, or since it's release, and at that time, depended on samples from my primary care doctor, because, at that time flomax was 100$ for 30 capsules. Then, when my insurance started paying, the generic Tamsulosin was released, and to date I have remained on this medication for bph, and prior to 1996 Hytrin was prescribed, which also worked for me. For 22 years I have had to take something for bph and I'm now 60 yrs old. OK, I said all that to say on this. For 20 yrs I've taken FLOMAX 0.4 MG Capsules, and never had any side effects, but on 1 or 2 occasions, I ran out and was off for maybe a week before I could not urinate, and had immense pain trying, and desperately was ready to rob a pharmacy to ...

what color do these pills look like? ## There is no 60mg of the instant release Oxycodone, it is only available in 5mgs.
