A small round white tablet with APO on top a line, then T50 under the line ## Found a match. It's Trazodone 50 mg (trade names Desyrel, Molipaxin, Deprax, Trittico, Thombran, Trialodine, Trazorel) which is a psychoactive compound with sedative, anxiolytic, and antidepressant properties. The various manufacturers claim that the antidepressant becomes active in the first week of therapy. Trazodone has less prominent anticholinergic (dry mouth, constipation, tachycardia) and adrenolytic (hypotension, etc) side effects than most tricyclic antidepressants. Round white pill with APO with a cut line and 500 under it only on one side...what is it? ## I have searched around and so far the closest pill which I have found to resemble your description is: " Each white, round, flat-faced with bevelled edge, scored, compressed tablet, identified 'APO' over '500', contains acetaminophen 500 mg " [1] So my best guess at this point is that it is called Apo-acetaminophen from Canada, containing, of course, Acetaminophen 500 mg as stated above. If so Apotex states that the tablet contains 50mgs of Trazodone, which is an antidepressant that is also used to treat insomnia. fairly big round orange coated pill (white inside) that says apo 400 on it ## The only match I am finding is described as pink by the manufacturer, but colors are subjective, it is coated and white inside. It contains 400mgs of Pentoxifylline, a generic for Trental, it is an anticoagulant from Canada. When I refilled my perscription for Trazadone, I though the pills looked different. they are small white round pills with a split line and PLIVA 433 stamped on them. The old ones were oval I think. The old bottle says Trazodone 50 mg Tablet APO. The new one says Trazodone 50 mg Tablet PLI What is the difference? ## Only the manufacturer!
