what is the number one source that (APO/que400) prescribed for. I've read several things like it is used as an antiinflammatory, Osteoporosis and other reasons for being prescribed. Also one website states the name brand is Etodolac. Is this information correct and please state to me the NAME BRAND. I would appreciate an answer as soon as you can get me the correct information. I was given a small round yellow pill. It is scoed with APO above the line and 40 below the line. There is nothing on the back. Round circle green pill APO 40 on one side, scored between APO and 40 , and completely bank on the other side, from canada ## From what I could gather, a round, green, biconvex tablet, scored and marked "APO" over "40" on one side, contains Propranolol HCl (40 mg); from Canada. fairly big round orange coated pill (white inside) that says apo 400 on it ## The only match I am finding is described as pink by the manufacturer, but colors are subjective, it is coated and white inside. It contains 400mgs of Pentoxifylline, a generic for Trental, it is an anticoagulant from Canada. It makes my stomach hurt worse, what's the difference between this pill and Prevacid ## Hello, Jean! How are you? Prevacid contains the active ingredient Lansaprazole. The capsule in question is listed by Apotex as containing 40mgs of Omeprazole, which is a generic for Prilosec. Both, however, are the same type of medication. The FDA does list stomach pain as being a possible side effect of these medications, along with nausea, dizziness and flatulence. So, it could be that the Omeprazole is causing you more side effects than Prevacid did. Is there anything else I can help with?

I originally take OMEPRAZOL DR 40MG CAP APO. Now I take OMEPRAZOL DR 20MG CAP APO and it doesn't work as well as the 40MG CAPS... Can I take 2 of the 20MG CAPSULES? ## Hello, Arneta! How are you? Well, it is a lower dosage, so it's not going to work as well as the higher dosage did. It will take awhile for your body to adjust to the lower dosage. However no, you shouldn't raise the dosage again, without your doctor's approval. Long-term use of these PPIs risks hip fractures, according to FDA warnings. i m taking Flagyl 400 since march 2011 for treatment of Antebacterial infection , i had taken 4 courses of 7 days , for one month or so i m ok , but again the problem starts , how much courses of flagyl are required for complete relief ## What type of infection is it? It really shouldn't require that many courses of any antibiotic to clear up the problem. Have you and your doctor discussed the possibility of your using a different antibiotic? I think that this one just isn't working for you. Found on floor of my vanity room. It's approx 3/4 of inch long with ATV40 on one side and APO on the other side. Hope it's not dangerous as I have small grandchildren in my home. ## This tablet is manufactured by Apotex Corp. and they list it as containing 40mgs of Atorvastatin, which is used to help lower cholesterol levels. The U.S. FDA lists its typical side effects as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, and joint/muscle aches. It would be best to sweep up and make sure no others are scattered about, as it could be too much for a small child. Is there anything else I can help with?
