How is this different from Tinactin? ## Hi John, Based on my research, Tinactin and Clarus-Antifungal solution both contain 1% of the same active ingredient Tolnaftate. The only difference would be the "inactive" ingredients used. Both of these anti-fungals come in cream form but from what I can gather, only Tinactin comes in an aerosol spray and powder formulation. You can learn more about this drug on the page for Tinactin Details I hope this helps! Please post back if you have any more questions.

My doctor put me on Diflucan for a toe nail fungus.Has anyone ever heard of this before? I've already had all ten toe nails cut out three times and I can't face that again or having the nails removed. My nails are hard and curl into my toes. ## Hi Missy, Based on my research, Diflucan (Fluconazole) is primarily used to treat Vaginal yeast infections and has been approved by the FDA for that purpose. I have tubes of Naftin and Econazole nitrate cream that have an expiration date of 9/11 and 11/11 on the crimp edge. Are they still good for treating athlete's foot between toes and for nail fungus on toes? ## Since they expired over a year ago, it's doubtful that they will be effective at treating anything now. All medications start to lose effectiveness over time and when it comes to a cream or liquid, they degrade even faster than tablets or other formulations. Learn more Naftin details here. Learn more Econazole details here. Thus, it would be best to get new tubes of them. Is there anything else I can help with? ## Can you use an anti-fungal liquid for nails after the expiration date (which is 3/17)? ## Can you use Fungicure after expiration?

Will my smelly and creamy white discharge affect my chances of getting pregnant? ## Hi nobantu, You are most likely dealing with a yeast infection; caused by a common fungus known as Candida. Normally the acid balance of the vagina keeps this fungus from multiplying, but changes in the acidity of the vagina (often due to illness, menstruation, pregnancy, some antibiotics, or birth control pills) can stimulate yeast growth. According to baby center.com, having a yeast infection will not directly affect your chances of getting pregnant. If you have any more questions or concerns, please post back! ## Thanx dear, so is there any specific medication I can refer 2 in terms of healing this problem of mine? ## My friend has an infection on her vaginal lips.
