Does this plll help panic attacks and does it act fast if am having a bad panic attack like a zanx ## Mirtazapine is actually an anti-depressant as opposed to an anti-anxiety like Xanax; however it is said to work by increasing certain types of activity in the brain to maintain mental balance. That to me, certainly sounds like it could have a positive impact on someone who might be experiencing a panic attack. The funny thing is, "anxiousness" and "confusion" are both listed as side effects of Mirtazapine. So I guess there's really no guarantee that it wont backfire Lol... Can I really be addicted?

I've been on 10mg of oxy for about 6 months and also went thru a major depression to which I take an anti depressant for. My depression is under control, but I get anxiety so I use the oxy for that. Doc wants me off the oxy, and suggested tapering slowly and possible using clonodine to help with the anxiety during this taper. Can I really be addicted after 6 months? I do know that if I miss my dose I get more anxiety. ## Hello, Mmei! How are you? I believe you're misunderstanding the FDA and DEA definition of addiction. Addiction occurs, when someone abuses a medication, by taking more and more of it to keep experiencing the energizing effect of the high that it makes them feel. Since those are just side effects, they eventually wear off, so they have to take more to get those f... ...

Hi- my name is Wendy. I'm 36 years old, and I've been diagnosed with Bipolar Disorder Type II, Adult ADHD, Anxiety Disorder, & AntiSocial Disorder.I take Symbiax for Bipolar Disorder,Klonipin for Anxiety Disorder, and just switched from Adderall to Vyvanse for my ADHD. While I was taking Adderall, I suffered from severe mood swings, especially when I would come down off of it, & my behavior really took a turning point after I had to start taking the pill form (or salts) because of insurance purposes. I started imagining things, and became so paranoid that I felt like everyone was "out to get me", and everything people would say to me or about me was somehow negative. The pharmacy where I got my prescriptions filled even told me that my doctor had me on an extreme... ...
