ive been taking citalopram 20mg for two weeks now for anxiety, it took around 7 days to kick in, but suffered anxiety symptoms in second week and have had very mild stomach acke/bloatiness feeling. has anyone had simular? ## Citalopram, the active ingredient in Celexa, is an antidepressant. It can take several weeks to reach its full effect and help relieve your anxiety, if it does not work in the next 1 to 2 weeks, please make sure to contact your doctor. And yes, the things you are experiencing can be normal side effects of this medication, you may also experience symptoms that include dizziness and headache. Lobeline and Desipramine
I am taking Desipramine for adult ADD/anxiety. Can I take Lobeline for smoking/alchohol cessation since they both work with nuerotransmitters/seratonin levels? ## It is not advisable to combine anything, without first consulting your doctor.
