Really wanted to know if I can take advil pm.for my head ach and help sleeping,but im on 8mg sub.a day and 10mg flexeril??? ## From what I've read, apparently there are dangerous drug interactions listed between the Buprenorphine in Suboxone and the Cyclobenzaprine in Flexeril. I'm not sure if you were already aware of this, but the interaction states that using these two central nervous system (CNS) depressants together may increase your risk of a Buprenorphine overdose, life-threatening respiratory depression, coma, and even death. Having said that, extreme caution on proper dosing should be advised by your doctor if he/she hasn't already mentioned this to you. I would like to give my 11 year old daughter an Advil PM 200 mg so she can sleep. ## Can I give my 10 year old a Advil pm cause her head been hurting since like 2 ## In young children, it is best not to give them any medication, without their pediatrician's approval. Are either of your children on any other medications? The FDA lists the side effects of this one as possibly including nausea, dizziness, headache, increased risk of bleeding, and stomach irritation. Tee, the PM formulation will cause her to sleep, so it might not be the best choice. She may better of just taking Tylenol, or Advil, if her doctor approves. I take one Advil PM almost every night to sleep. I also take an Aleve gel ievery morning for aches and pains, because I find that the Aleve Gel works better for my aches ## They really shouldn't be combined, since they both contain NSAIDs, the Ibuprofen in the Advil PM and the Naproxen in the Aleve. However, it really depends o how close together you are taking them. If they are being taken 8 to 10 hours apart, then there really shouldn't be any severe problems. Both of them can irritate your stomach, though, so you may experience some problems with that, but that would also result if you were just taking one of them and not 2 different ones. Are there any other comments or questions? ## So I took an alieve at like 7:30 and I want to take a Advil PM and its 8:30 is that a problem?

Nonsteroidal anti-inflammatories can be contraindicated in some blood pressure and cardiac patients, because they can sometimes cause elevated blood pressure as a side effect, as well as fluid retention, according to the FDA. I need to know a pharmacy location for otc aleve pm. in billings, mt. ## I could not find anything on Aleve PM as of writing this, but I did find Advil PM to be available. It contains Ibuprofen which is pretty similar to the active ingredient in Aleve (Naproxen) plus the Diphenhydramine found in those night time meds. It's $8.99 for 40 caplets. Where can I buy ALEVE PM?? I am unable to locate it in the Alabama ared. I talked to Bayer customer service and was informed they do not make a PM pill. ## Based on my research, Aleve PM is not on the market as of writing this; only Advil PM in that regard. The manufacturer's website also verifies this on their product page. Have you considered trying Advil PM (diphenhydramine + ibuprofen)? If excedrin pm and aleve are combined, what happens ## It depends on the amount that is combined. Large amounts of it could cause severe organ damage and/or a fatal overdose. However, a normal dose will usually just result in upset stomach, headache, vomiting and stomach irritation. You may also get really drowsy and dizzy. In general, they really shouldn't be combined, because you are combining medications that all do the same things, so it isn't necessary. The Excedrin PM contains Acetaminophen and Diphenhydramine: and the Aleve contains Naproxen: Also, combining them regularly can result in organ damage, or stomach conditions such as ulcers and gastritis. Tyenol PM or advil PM ## Can't sleep on prednisone what can I take yo)to. help me ## I would recommend staying away from the Advil/Ibuprofen, because it is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory and taking it with the Prednisone can seriously increase the risk of developing stomach problems, such as bleeding ulcers. There are, however, no interactions listed between taking the Prednisone, with the Tylenol PM, which contains Acetaminophen and Diphenhydramine, but you may want to double check that with your pharmacist to be certain. need to know what this is for i found it with an advil pm ## There is a round, white tablet with an R over 50 on one side, which is scored on the other, that contains 1mg Lorazepam, the active ingredient in Ativan, which is a Benzodiazepine that's used to treat anxiety and nervous disorders. I have a headache and want to take Advil (Ibuprofen) right now. Only thing is I am planning to take a Tylenol PM (Acetaminophen with Diphenhydramine) in about 2 hours to go to bed. I take one tablet of hydrocodone/apap 5-352 mg, but when I go to bed and wake up in 4 hours I can't get back to sleep. Hi everyone. I'm just wondering which medication most of you consider to be the best sleep aid? Of course I've heard of the ever popular Ambien, Lunesta, etc. There are also over the counter products such as Tylenol PM and Advil PM which combine Diphenhydramine with Acetaminophen or Ibuprofen respectively. Lastly, there are certain natural treatments to help one sleep such as Melatonin. I'm looking for a consensus as to which one you think would be the most effective with the least side effects. Any thoughts appreciated!
