Are you experiencing any pain, swelling or foul breath odor? If not, then the antibiotic has most likely worked, since those are all potential symptoms of an infection as detailed by the NIH. However, only your dentist can say for sure by doing an exam. Was this your first extraction? Are you on any other medications?

I always have itching, it's non stop. I've been to the Dr to be tested for herpes and it isn't herpes. I have a bad odor after having sex with my boyfriend and then days after I start itching and bubbles appear. Been going through this for the last 25 years and no Dr has found out why.
