I've found it difficult to get this across because the line being towed by pharmasists and drug companies is a disciplined one.. You might get an honest answer from an independently owned pharmacy pharmasist.. But the truth is there are in many cases huge differences in generics and brands.. Ask yourself why a brand is $150 to the gen. $4.00..?? What confuses me is why isn't the public at large more sure of this crooked racket.. I've got nerve damage and have been on Norco for years. This is a great drug to hold up as an example of the nastiness being practiced. Now you won't find wide ranging discrepancies in heart meds or blood pressure meds but you absolutely will within the opioid and benzo family of meds. If you really want the truth ask your doctor, they know.. Tha...

I got a prescription for generic norco and it has watson 853 imprinted on it. I was wondering if I am getting the correct medication or if I am being ripped off at this pharmacy? It is yellow. ## white round ww 2410 ## What is a round, off white or very light yellow pill with M 89 imprinted on it? ## Watson 853 is indeed a generic for Norco. It contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. No listing for WW 2410, sorry. M 89 is Meloxicam 15mgs, a generic for Mobic. This is a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory. ## Is watson 853 indeed 10mg hydrocodone with 325 mg of tylenol? ## Is an oval small red pill with the markings KALI 083 a norco? ## Ron, KALI 083 is Acetaminophen 325 mg + Tramadol 37.5 mg, which is generic for Ultracet. ## Watson 853 - Yes, generic Norco...I have been getting it for a few...

THE 853 NORCO DOES NOT HELP MY PAIN AS WELL AS THE YELLOW TINTED ONES. PLUS THEY UPED THE PRICE DOUBLE. ## I used CVS for my prescriptions until last month, when I tried Walgreens to fill my script for Norco 10/325. When I saw they were white instead of yellow I thought I was given the 5/500 strength in error, since I knew those are white. I called Walgreens and was assured these Watson 853's were the exact same ingredients as the Norco 10/325. After taking my usual dosage, I was shocked to feel almost no relief....maybe 10% relief. After this happened, i went on the internet and read about others who had the same bad experience. Today when I got my new script I went back to Walgreens and told the pharmacy I wanted the other generic, NOT the Watson 853. They said that's the only...

personally i think, the DEA, is cracking down, i know the doctors are scared their gonna lose their license, where i live they are getting ridiculous about it! there is an epidemic, which in return is ruining it for us folks who really need the stuff to just even feel a little comfort from excrutiating pain, there is even a brand called "qualitest" for God sakes! not positive, but i believe, food and drug adm., are lowering the strength, to get american's off the drug!!!!! ## From what I've seen, Watson does have a yellow and white version of their "853" generic Acetaminophen + Hydrocodone tablets. They list the dosage as still being 325/10 in the newer white ones, however, there have been numerous complaints from patients who have tried both versions, saying tha...

PHOTO OF NORCO10-325MG TAB ## Norco contains Acetaminophen and Hydrocodone. That said, since there are also generics on the market, I cannot possibly post pictures of all of the available tablets with this dosage, there are many different companies that make it and each must have a unique imprint to enable its identification. Some imprints with this dosing include: A 328, a white, oblong tablet IP 110, white, oblong 176, white, oval M 367, white, oblong V 3601, yellow, oblong RX 497, white, round NORCO 539, yellow, oblong WATSON 853, yellow, oblong And this just includes the ones I could find. Is your pill in this list? Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you.

Many other people are telling me that ip 110 which is another generic form of hydrocodone 10/325, does not work for them nearly as well as watson 853, which is a better generic of the same thing - hydrocodone 10/325. Obviously, pharmacies are buying ip 110 cause they are cheaper. What else is known out there, and in other people's experience, is it the same? I would like to know? ## Hello, Dr. Moki! How are you? I've actually taken both of them, at different times when it was prescribed and found them both to work well for me. Just like any other medication, it can vary from person to person. The additional thing you have to remember is that most people don't post or talk about a medication, unless they've had a problem with it, there is a much larger number of people th...

Need to Know color and shape ## Hello, Theresa! How are you? Watson actually lists this tablet as containing 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, so it is a generic for Lortab or Norco. It should be a yellow, oval tablet, though they are now removing the dyes from their products, so I think most that are currently available are white. The FDA classifies this medication as a narcotic analgesic, so it has the potential to be habit forming and may cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. Hello. I have a doctor who I have seen for a long time who writes has regularly written me scripts. Sometimes it is for norco and then sometimes the next month she will do percocet. Both are 10/325 everytime. The question I am asking is how can I ensure that the Pharmacy will have the specific Noroc/Percocet that I am looking for. For example, sometimes Walgreens will have the white Watson 853's which I don't like. Sometimes the CVS will have the white A333 Percs which I do like. Is there a way my doctor can specify on my script which brand/manufacturer she wants to perscribe? ## Hello, Scott! How are you? No, there is no way to specific any certain generic. The most your doctor can do is write it as brand medically necessary, or whatever the equivalent is in your state, so they...

What is difference between yellow pill that says watson on one side and 853 on other compared to yellow pill that has a v on one side and 3601 on other? ## There is no difference in the active ingredients, they are just manufactured by different companies They both contain 10mgs of Hydrocodone and 325mgs of Acetaminophen, generics for Vicodin, this is a narcotic pain reliever. Common side effects may include: nausea, drowsiness, dry mouth and constipation. You can read more here: Did you have any other questions? ## There are many kinds of vicodin, I believe the best would be norco. The best I think is an off yellow color that reads Watson 853. I've been taking a 10 /325 norco with big V on one side and v3601 on other darker yellow. i sitched to watson 853 10/325. the watsons don't seem to work. does it take time to get used to new pill or something . please help. ## There can be differences in generic drugs, the FDA does allow them to differ, from the name brand, in the amount of the active ingredient(s) by as much as plus or minus 20%. Problems can arise, however, because they are only required to measure against the name brand, not against each other, therefore, when you switch from one generic to another, you may find that one doesn't work as well, because you may not be getting as much of the medication as you were in the prior one. In some cases, they may even be stronger, which could cause problems for some ...
