I got it from a Dr and put it in a pill box and did not label it. ## Hello Sue, I've been searching everywhere but I just can't seem to find a pill that has the imprint 54 345. I found a small white pill with the imprint 54 543 but not 345, is it possible that you simply memorized the second part and wrote it backwards? If that's the case then the pill would be a Roxicet 325 mg / 5 mg which is used to treat pain/chronic pain. If it turns out to be the roxicet let me know if you would like additional information and I can provide more in depth information on the pill for you to have. According to U.S. Drug Enforcement Administration (Sept. '08 publication) tramadol is NOT a controlled substance. Is it in the state of Virginia? ## It is considered an Opiate Narcotic, so it should be considered a controlled substance all over the U.S. ## As of Jan 2010 Tramadol is a Class IV controlled substance in Virginia, if caught without intent to distribute up to 1 year in jail, if caught with intent to distribute up to 5 years in prison ## Tramadol is not a controlled substance in Virginia. In Jan 2010 legislation was proposed to make it a schedule IV controlled substance but the bill died in committee.
