I just went through surgery. Prior to surgery I was given a generic of Percocet - IP203 , after I received plain pill, no letters but 512 on one side, what is the difference, if any please as I am concerned. Is yellow round pill 230 c the same as Norco ## Hi Amy, The round yellow pill you're describing marked with a C on one side and 230 on the other, contains 10mgs of Oxycodone hydrochloride + 325mg of Acetaminophen. This is NOT the same as Norco. Norco contains Hydrocodone instead of Oxycodone. For added verification on the pill's ID, it's reportedly manufactured by a company called Alvogen; and carries a National Drug Code of 47781-0230. I hope this helps answer your question!

Is Norco 10-325 as strong as Vicoden 10-660 for pain? ## The only difference is the Norco has 325 mgs Tylenol and the Vicodin 660 mgs.They both have the same amount of hydrocodone, 10 mgs. ## @Shep, BL is correct about the amount of Tylenol (Acetaminophen) in each medication. Therefore, the Vicodin would be stronger than the Norco. If your pain isn't severe, I personally recommend taking the Norco due to the fact that it contains less Tylenol (Acetaminophen). I found this pill and it is brown/maroon oblong with the marking of GP325 i've search everywere but cannot find out what it is ## I was able to locate a similar pill; it doesn't have quite the same marking as the description you provided, but the color match seems to be brown and maroon/pink coated onto an oblong shaped pill. Which drug store chains carry 325 mg Ascriptin? ## I'm sorry, Meteor, but unfortunately there is no central listing of what drug stores carry any given product or medication. The best suggestion I can make is that you ask the pharmacist at whichever one you usually use if they can order it in for you. Many of them are quite happy to do so for their regular customers. Ascriptin is an Aspirin that's buffered with Maalox to prevent the stomach damage that it can cause. Side effects may include dizziness, headache and increased risk of bleeding. Have you had problems with ulcers or excess stomach acid?

It is Aspirin Enteric Coated; It works by reducing substances in the body that cause pain, fever, and inflammation. Correct me if I'm wrong but It doesn't seem any different than a normal Aspirin tab with a higher dose of 325 mg rather than the more common 81 mg. I am a diabetic with kidney issues. I know I am not supposed to take ibprofin as it harms my kidney. Why is it small and yellow, I was taking the lortab blue pill ## The color and size don't actually mean anything, the company may just manufacture their pills differently, so they use less fillers, than other manufacturers. What are the markings on the tablet in question? The name brand Norco that is a yellow tablet in the 10/325mg dosage is oval and has the marking NORCO 539 on one side of the tablet. There is also a generic, that is a yellow, oval with the marking WATSON 853. Another yellow, oval one with the marking 3601 on one side and a V on the other side. Do any of these match the tablet you have? If not, please post back with markings and I will gladly check it for you.

I was wondering how many 2.5 mg 325 oxycodone can I take at one time? I normally use 30-50mg a time each day to maintain my pain. ## Hi Connie, Based on my research, the usual adult dosage for Percocet 2.5/325 is one or two tablets every 6 hours- the maximum daily dose is 12 tablets.
