i found a pill that is white round with a smooth solid sice and the other side has a 319 on it in my bottle of trazodone, are they the same? ## No, a white, round tablet market with the numbers 319 is listed as containing 50mgs of Tramadol, which is a centrally acting analgesic, it is an opioid, but not classified as a narcotic. It can cause side effects, such as nausea, dizziness, constipation and dry mouth. I'd suggest contacting your pharmacy to report the error, if someone is allergic to this medication, this could cause a serious problem. Are there any other questions or comments? ## I found one in my daughter's Trazodone bottle as well and took it to the pharmacy this morning and they "quarantined" the whole bottle. My husband and my son also take Trazodone and I w... ...

My boyfriend was given tramadol and tested positive for opiates. Is this possible and why? Then he was given the medication forcibly by medical staff where he is located. Can this cause for him to act intoxicated and/or high? ## Tramadol will NOT show up as an opiate. If it was an opiate it would be a controlled substance for all states. Vicodin, OxyContin, etc are opiates and narcotics and will show up on a drug test. Tramadol is a synthetic opiate. Basically man made chemicals that affect opioid receptors in the brain. They can test for Tramadol on toxicology/overdose reports but they don't test for it on standard drug tests. Tramadol can get you intoxicated if you take enough. I believe other than pain the reason people use it is as an anti-depressant. Tramadol effects your serot... ...
